  1. well he was spotted because he was at the match minding his own business and was picked out by the sky cameras paul jewell is spotted at the reebok
  2. spotted at the match last night and `not available` for comments today according to 5 live
  3. well I`ve been as big a defender of Megsn as anyone, I stopped posting on here cos I was sick of reading all the rollocks that people wrote but even I think the end was inevitable simply because everyone is bored of `surviving`. Fans don`t want to watch teams grinding out a result because its boring. all megson defenders ask yourself honestly. which was more exciting? the colin todd teams, the FSA teams or the megson teams? without a doubt the rollercoaster ride we had under todd was a great spell in our history. it was exciting and new and great fun. its all gone stale now as it had done under allardyce. what we need is a damn good relegating to get the interest back
  4. 23,576 - The number of people that think Gary Megson is a Ginger Chimp 4 - The number of people who appreciate that Premiership Survival at a canter was more than was expected 20 - The number of ? I shall collect off friends who wagered we`d be down by Christmas
  5. Im serious. What was he doing walking down the touchline with no jacket on. Its a disgrace. Shouting and stuff. Its undignified. For the love of god, GO MAN GO! and take your tremendous signings, endless enthusiasm and Houdini style escape acts with you
  6. Wage bill slashed, average age of the team reduced, several players on the verge of an England call up, no tricky matches for the rest of the season, safely in mid table, excellent recent signings, a miracle escape from relegation last season..... but that ginger hair is just too much and I don`t like him because I don`t like him MEGSON OUT
  7. Gary Megson performed miracles to keep us up last year He has cut the wage bill, reduced the average age of the team and got rid of the boring style that Allardyce was guilty of. Reading the moronic drivel that people write reminds me why I dont bother reading this board much anymore. Every team has its retard supporters but I know intelligent business mean in their 40`s who have jumped on this `Megson is a Cuunt` theme and if you ask them why they just can`t answer. `Hes just a cuunt` is all you get. Why??? He`s as straight and honest a bloke as you can get. Hes doing a job with 1 hand tied behind his back for christs sake. Its pathetic, it really is
  8. i have no issue with the man for leaving us, good luck n all that but he has just joined a smaller club with smaller crowds, less money and less potential. He will do OK with them but surely Sunderland was the one for him. He could have achieved greatness up there which is why I put ?50 on him as their new manager. (bastard) Theres nothing for him over there, a shocking lack of ambition in my eyes
  9. I would also add, in the UEFA cup jaunt last year, he played the `2nd XI` for the final 3 games of that campaign. There were 2 things that really went against him there. 1. that bunch of `2nd XI` players pulled 2 unlikely wins out of the bag and 2. when we finally lost due to this policy the 1st XI put in a spineless performance at pie eaters the following weekend. .....ergo he was a victim of his own successful policy. As for keeping us up - you won`t find a bigger optimist than me and I was 100% sure we were down. Astounding feat to keep us up. Truly astonishing piece of management to dig us out of that hole, particularly after the 3-2 reverse to the Arse
  10. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6W7Z-xG4SCw possibly not entirely what you want but somebody elses child being a mascot?
  11. bleedin kevin nolan. im sick of it he had a crap game tommorrow
  12. Spot on there fella. Don`t know who he thinks he is playing for england and holding down a spot in a succesful premier league team. Driving his fancy car, not saying `allreeet` to folk who badger him when he`s minding his own business. He`s no better than me the bastard
  13. http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,1952...4454712,00.html he tried to keep it all in but he just couldnt
  14. that sounds great! is it true? i read yesterday that according to opta stats hull city have played more long balls into the penalty area than any other team which given that PB is in charge is not a surprise but EVERYBODY loves them because they are playing the plucky no hopers giving the big boys a bloody nose. a role, of course that we played so brilliantly for several years...until the novelty wore off the pundits and the opposition managers AND our supporters who realised that whilst it was fun for a while its actually really ugly to watch and when you try to take the next step forward its not that easy. ergo big sam got stale, supporters got restless at being not quite the greatest `small` club to reach the champions league and the rest is history. so what of Megson? an impossible task! even allardyce couldnt recreate what he did the first time because the noveltys gone and we wouldnt put up with the dull biz that was being served up. I think we will finish better than 15th which in a year of change, bedding in new players is satisfactory. Many people will say they will be happy with mid table but finishing mid table means you will lose a lot of games, draw a good few games and win a few games...which is what we are doing. it always amazes me how people can`t seem to get their heads round that.
  15. oh stop it please. if we`re now saying beckham is, was and always will be poop then i have to say your expectations are a wee bit high. taylor is all of the above (good crosser, good honest lad, scores the odd great goal, a threat, etc, etc) but what does he have to show for his efforts?
  16. 4 from 23 - youre happy with that then.
  17. Agree with all that, but he`s gone and he left under a cloud having publicly stated we weren`t big enough for him and he left behind a team that was out of sorts that played a brand of football that was AWFUL to watch once the excitement and novelty of over acheiving had worn off. What short memories people have. This board is full of very silly people.[shakes head smiley]
  18. nobodys mentioned matt taylor anywhere. elmander wasn`t brought in as a goal scorer, that was made clear from the start. is taylor not our sole player for a moment of inspiration? if you summarise his input since he arrived then he`s not delivered at all. i may be in a minority but i dont think we are that far off a good team, how long did it take anelka to look the part? certainly longer than elmander has had. and the other thing that is bugging me, everyone talks about megson as if he inheritted allardyces top 6 team, which he didnt. people have short memories, allardyces team was on the slide, everyone acknowledged that at the time and what megson inherrited was a bus load of average players that were brought in by sammy lee and a club in dissarray. He performed miracles to keep us up and I stick by my prediction that we will finish above 14th. god bless the ginger chimp so there
  19. there was a queue of at least 50 people by 1.40 so we didn`t get in but people inside said there was lots of room. what have they put loads of tables in there for? Its not a jeffin picnic area. I'm all for it but its not rocket science is it. How could it not be a success?
  20. jesus! you need to dumb your posts down a bit fella! take a look at the opening post in this thread. use that as a template.
  21. errmm. me. hows that ponytail coming along
  22. Was chatting b4 the game on Saturday bout `our` Amir. I`m certain he is a Urinal fan, absolutely 100% sure but mates were quite shocked. They reckon he wears BWFC on his shorts and is a big fan but I thought that was all about his `special relationship` he had with Fat Sam and cos he used our training facilities. Trouble is, when put on the spot I have no idea why Im so sure about this. I did a search on here and opinion seems to be divided? What is he? (2 points to the first person who says hes a red ginger)
  23. I`m gary megson and so is my wife Lets have a protest against the protest Who`s in for a team briefing in KFC before the next match?
  24. Indeed Carlos. If you start to analyse this it is bordering on the ridiculous. Come on lads, do a Bolton lad proud and give a small donation. He`ll need to spend ?1,000 sorting his arse out when he`s done!!
