Bristol Rovers (A)
Look at it another way. We have lost 7 and drawn 4, so dropped 29 points. Tranmere have done the same.. MKD have lost 9 and drawn 1, so they have also dropped 29. Wimbledon have lost 9 and drawn 3, so dropped 33. Southend have lost 11 and drawn 2, so dropped 37. So without the 12 point penalty, winning our games in hand would lift us clear. Btw Lincoln have lost 8 and drawn 2, so dropped 28.

Harry and Meghan
Brian Leveson struggled with this problem. He pointed out that, no matter what editors say, the issues recur a decade later. The 'freedom of the press' card is used whenever challenged, but framing rules which rein them in while retaining freedom is beyond difficult. Note that Cameron set up the Leveson Inquiry, then changed the terms of reference, and dropped part 2 of the inquiry altogether.

Japan 2019 RU world cup
My uncle, who emigrated to NZ in 1953 was an RL player (our sideboard clock was a Lancs Junior Cup prize). He hated RU with a passion (even though he played it in the Army). In fact he could not write RU in letters home, but simply referred to "that silly kicking game". What I never understood was why he went to NZ rather than Oz.

Japan 2019 RU world cup
It would be faster still if they dispensed with wing forwards (as RL did in 1906).

Todays Games
Liverpool ended their winning streak and their hosts are down in 13th, 2 pts above the relegation zone. What's not to like?

sub-2 hour marathon
Shoes have always affected times. Why did Bannister sharpen his spikes in his hospital before his mile record? The IAAF have introduced shoes rules whenever they have felt the need. For example in 1957 high jumpers broke records with a built-up shoe on the take-off foot. IAAF then changed the rules to ban such shoes. And yes, Kosgei has been regarded as the rising star of women Marathon runners for the last couple of years. I agree 2:14 was not yet expected, but 2:16 certainly was. Which played a bigger part, her super shoes or her two male pacemakers?

When I was a youngster in Warrington, the mid-Cheshire League team from my current pace of residence was Sandbach Ramblers. Not any longer - they merged with Sandbach Town and became Sandbach United.

FA Cup First Round
But if Chorley lose a replay it suddenly becomes Spennymoor away. The alternative to Southport is Altrincham. Dover away is definitely one to avoid.
