I have to say it's much improved in a morning this week on A666, M61, M60, M62. Less than an hour every day leaving just before 7.

To be certain are the key words here folks - hour and a half on average at the moment, but if I've got a meeting at 9 then I need to be on the road at 7.

To be certain to be in work to 9 I have leave at 7. 27 miles from Bromley Cross to Warrington, it's fucked up and highways agency traffic warning still reckons only 10 mins delay at peak times.

The path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the devil's own satanic herd - Added to the M60 nightmare - lane closure on St Peters way this week lasting thru till April and from March major works on m61 at kearsley roundabout. Jut as the mornings start getting lighter and you think things will get better!

Yes, darwen got it bad apparently. A friend of mine was in it, road was shut and police came down and advised all stuck to stay in their cars and wait for the gritters to turn up and not attempt a 3 point turn. She waited a while nothing happened so she got out and walked back to Egerton!

Not so much the roadworks this morning. A666 was shut on the way towards Darwen.

Queueing on the M61/60 drops off around 9ish - I'd say about 1 hr 10 mins from Bolton.

1 hour and half hours to Warrington leaving at 7am. Thats a normal day now? Going to do a Micheal Douglas in Falling Down soon...

Saw ISS clear as day at 5.20, came over winter hill and disappeared towards the SE. Kids very giddy!!

Friday morning - more people on hols, sickies, WFH etc. After work those that are in leave more at less at the same time 4ish. Plus people returning home from working away. Hence the congestion which takes a while to clear. I stay till 6 on a Friday and it's fine by then usually.

I'll stand by it. Android smart watches have been a bit of a flop. Time will tell with the apple watch.

Indeed, but I don't know anyone who's got a android watch? Don't think I'll be saying the same thing about the apple watch a few months after it's been out.

I too have a Garmin GPS watch that is way more wanky looking than this.

Just seen it - looks pretty good to me. It will be a success. apple are very good at making you want what you didn't realise you wanted!

I've not seen it yet, but people said much the same thing when the iPad came out.
