I loved The Sopranos and it clearly influenced BB, but I never got bored with Breaking Bad. I did with The Sopranos, often.

I like it. The control centre is very useful and saves time going into the settings. Also I can get all my folders on one screen now which is good. There is a fair amount of cool stuff that you'll probably never use(spirit level, airdrop etc) which is nice for messing about with.

Jesus! Just when you think BB can't get any more intense. Just brilliant.

I needed a drink after BB last night! Never known a show generate and sustain tension so well. BB is immense and has been consistently excellent since season 3. If it continues at that this level I would rate it above The Sopranos(went a bit flabby in the middle seasons) and The Wire (S5 isn’t upto the standard of the rest). Dexter reached its high water mark in Season 4. Since then it's been really patchy, recent seasons have suffered from a lack of a decent bad guy.

Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria Very family friendly, no timeshare touts, no nob heads. Lovely beach, harbour etc.

Knight was the least of our problems today. The booing was embarrassing. Pratley, Wheater, Medo, Baptiste, Eagles all way more culpable.

Saw Fat Frank getting on the Grand National at the Pleasure Beach last year. He was with a load of youngish folk who could only be described as 'special'. Carers looking after them all.

Thought it was top notch personally. Dipped a bit mid season, but thought the last episode was great.

Anyone tried Banshee. Got a couple of episodes on the planner. I've heard its decent.

Just given up on Treme midway through Season 3. Still kind of enjoying it, but it is very slow. Too much other stuff out there and its lost the battle for space on the Sky+ recorder.

Another vote for Saturday cleaning at Warbies. Shooting crumbs on the conveyor belts - fucking awful! Paid better than most Saturday jobs at the time though. Also shelf stacking at Morrisons and pot washing at the Last Drop.

7 actually. Stick with it, season 1 is a slow burner. Season 2 is excellent.

That is The Wire though. Very little closure at the end of each season. Things aren't wrapped up in a bow or some cliched cliffhanger for the next season. Jealous you've got seasons 3, 4 and 5 to go!!
