  1. New Adventures is very very good. Though suffered from being thought of as recorded on tour in soundchecks throwaway kind of thing. E-bow is stunning as is Electrolite, Leave, etc. I’d recommend Lifes Rich Pageant and and Murmur as the best of the 80s stuff. Automatic is of course their well known classic and chock full of songs you’ll know.
  2. A few times. At the old Railway in BX and the Lions Den in Manc. They are excellent.
  3. Saw them at Bury Met tonight. Cracking gig, place was bouncing. Only caught onto them in the last few weeks.

    Wigan (A)

That was us it hit. Utter Bellends - no damage done thankfully.
  5. The Brewery Tap was good. Nice place, good beer. On Lower Bridge Street.
  6. 30 mins on train to Burscough. Then it’s a bus, cab or whatever. Not that bad.
  7. Josh Ritter - a little bit middle of the road and wears his influences on his sleeve, but a great songwriter and excellent live. A large back catalogue to get stuck into as well.
  8. Where’s this 2 weeks come from? Mine finish 1st April - it’s 4 weeks.
  9. Press release a couple of weeks ago, not sure what to think, yet. Cast list doing the rounds as well including our very own Sir Lenny Henry!!?? Amazon Studios’ forthcoming series brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
  10. Golf Clash - been playing it years.
  11. I’d say not, it’s 2 clicks. Also your Bluetooth stays on for your headphones, watch, car etc...
  12. Don’t need to turn Bluetooth off, you can turn Contract Tracing off in the app and then set it come back on after 4,8 or 12 hours.
  13. Mine was due mid April. Checked on DVLA it has been extended to mid October.
  14. Yeah the same fella has had Baci and Ciao Baby for years. Food was top notch and very well organised. Had to wait a bit, but was very busy. You give them your car reg when ordering and then they just come out and stick it in your boot.
  15. Collecting from Baci tonight in Harwood.
  16. Rumours doing the rounds among teacher folk is early June.
  17. Spread Eagle in Bromley Cross doing a sterling job. Fruit & veg market most days, meat packs to order, milk, bread eggs etc. All social distancing rules observed.
  18. So sorry, may she rest in peace.
  19. Struggling with it myself. 7 eps in and nothing much has happened?
  20. 5 mile walk with the daughter. Strange to see people walking all over Turton & Dunscar golf courses!
