Finished The Deuce. Absolutely top notch. Essential for fans of The Wire. Bit gutted, the next series will be set a few years later with not all the same characters.

The Deuce on Sky Atlantic from the makers of The Wire. Got the makings of a classic I think. Excellent so far.

Mindhunter on Netflix, serial killer detective type thing set in the 1970s from David Fincher. Pretty good so far - 2 episodes in.

James Richardson has left Football Weekly and now doing his own podcast The Totally Football Show. Well worth a listen - much the same as the old show on the Guardian. They are also doing a Football League only one on a Tuesday. They go to a different ground every week and this latest edition they went to the Macron last Saturday for the Brentford game! Max Rushton has took over the Football Weekly show. It’s still decent, though.

Another vote here for Football Weekly, Kermode & Mayo and Desert Island Discs. Also Test Match Special when the cricket is on. Desert island discs is all archived back to the 50's so you can go back as far as you want and pick and choose ones that interest you. Also Fighting Talk can be decent depending on who the guests are.

We've had 'who's the batman' on constant rotation. As far as the film goes it was good, but not in the same league as The Lego Movie.

Roadworks between J11 and at least J8 I think ( that's were I come off) until August. They are putting traffic lights coming off the M6 onto the 62 eastbound.

Remember a 3-2 at chesterfield from 2-0 down in the late 80s. We had it on a roadrunner VHS. Think it was a cup game.

It was decent. I was slightly disappointed and a bit bored at times. Didn't come out thinking I wanted to watch it again straight away like I did with Force Awakens.

This time of year my route home (Warrington - Bromley Cross) more often than not is M6, M65 and then thru Abbey Village to Belmont and cut thru to Egerton. Extra 15 miles, but its rarely more than 1 hr. Slow going upto J26, but after that's its usually pretty clear. The mornings are a nightmare and I've given up trying to find a better way than just getting going as early as poss. Google Maps is the key though use it every day with live traffic routing.

Imagine being a Coventry fan. Not finished in the top 6 of any division since 1969/70. How many promotion battles have we been in since then??
