  1. I do. Get it out of the way and cut back on the smoked salmon for a few weeks.
  2. Eurovision is something that I got dragged into a few years ago. It is now a major event at Undies Towers. Yes, I know it's camper than a row of tents but It's a well known scientific fact that we have all got at least 1 gay gene in our make-up 🩷
  3. Operation Gamma police footage. They never did get Mr. Big 🤫
  4. If you think that the fans at West Ham are a long way from the pitch. How about this at Molineux. It was like this for years. When I went the lower tier nearside was for away fans. Opposite stand was derelict.
  5. Last Breath with Woody Harrelson. This is the Hollywood version of a real life incident that happened in the North Sea. If you haven't seen the BBC dramatisation/documentary of this event then do yourself a favour and watch it on the iplayer. I doubt that the film will get close to being even half as entertaining.
  6. What happens at half-time during the regular season games in the NFL? I'm assuming nothing special. idiot catch or something similar.
  7. From my experience Horwich is a good night out. Compact.
  8. Trump won't be there. He'll be dead by then.
  9. No one has to watch it. Think I would prefer watching Lineker analysing Palmers first half hat-trick.
  10. I remember a match at Burnden when the linesman was getting a dog loads of abuse from the Burnden Paddock. In the second half he was moved over to the Manny rd side. Affectively both linos were on the left of the ref.

It's a piss poor league. I wasn't an Evatt hater. But, even with us in the same position as we were when he got sacked, we are in a miles better place now than we were with him and his stubborn ways.
  12. I hate VAR intensely. Unfortunately Pandora's box has been opened. Even if all the arguments and potential pitfalls of var were discussed and understood beforehand I still think it would be implemented.
  13. No matter how much Tango child spouts his populists nonsense I've always thought that Trump has got a team of Humphrey Appleby's in the shadows doing the real work. To a point I still think this. But the sycophantic entourage he has put in to positions around him are very loud. Although not a major power at the time the Trump administration remind me of Wimbledon from the 80s. Route one for result and a cabinet made up of Vinny Jones, Fashanu, Sanchez, Cork, Wise etc.. For world leaders what I saw yesterday was embarrassingly undignified. A schoolyard ambush by bigger boys. I get where Trump is coming from but it's all very ugly.
  14. Trump & Vance shouting down and not letting Zelensky get word in edgeways was very Vicky Pollard. Unbelievable!
  15. It was that shit I bought one. I'm actually got quiet fond of it now.
  16. We beat a good team today. One on the up and, after recent results, playing with good confidence. Coming back to win from a goal down against them is better than coming back from 1-3 down to Crawley. We're going up!
  17. I love looking at grounds. Old and new. They are like cathedrals. But I have to say that I'm totally unimpressed by Everton's new home. Looks like a posh St Andrews. Also locating it next to water will make getting away from the area an absolute nightmare. Unless you have a boat that is.
  18. You can just say - you make a very good point, Undies. Faith could change given the right circumstances.
  19. That will explain why social media is being littered with Jam songs.
  20. That's irrelevant. You said that faith stays the same. Ask a parent about how strong their faith is now that the goalpost have been moved. Plenty have fucked faith off.
  21. Up to very recently the Catholic church said that all baby's who died at birth, or shortly after, didn't go to heaven they all went to purgatory. No exceptions; it's written. Now they say nah, that was bollox. Imagine what that does to the faith of a parent. The church are making it up as they go along.
  22. That's what I was saying, in a round about sort of way. Faith is a belief with no real evidence to back it up. I believe the evidence that science offers but I'm unable to corroborate it. I'm just going off what the big brains say. The big brains are our preachers. That's the analogy I was trying to offer up.
  23. Even though I don't understand the evidence that science offers up I do believe it. That's a faith of sorts. Religious folk have a similar view on what they are believe. So who is wrong? I don't believe in God and I doubt there is anything that anyone can say that will make me change my mind. But having said that I do have a good friend who has found God. He has gone into it nuts deep. This came out of the blue. It's not made him a bad person. But I don't think I would want to get into a debate with him on the subject.
  24. Not into fantasy sort of stuff but Just before Christmas I chose to watch Game Of Thrones. 8 series so it was a big commitment. I arrived at the final episode last week. I enjoyed GOT. But It took some bloody following with all the entwining storylines and endless characters coming in and out, and back in again, and then dying. I won't lie, if it wasn't for the gratuitous nudity early on I might have given it up 🤫
  25. I would say it's more about avoiding executing the wrong people.
