  1. I always remember this one. Grobbelaar was always one for creating a save so it looked great for the cameras. But this one against Man U was not. It was superb. Unfortunately i can only find it in slow motion and that takes away how good it actually was. 5:57

    Pompey (H)

It's funny how some see it differently. Me being one.
  3. The worrying thing is I'm called by my username more than my real name. I don't mind it so much now.
  4. I picked my username while on Rivals. We had an on going feud with the Tranny's at that time. I thought Rivals was a great idea. Going on any of the other 92 sites and stirring up shit, and visa-versa. That sort of mindless bollox would drive me fucking mad now. I would like to think that during my time on WWs I've matured. I hope my opinions, and the way I word my posts, are looked upon with some gravitas and respected. Fanny's tits tits tits tits tits......
  5. I agree. A 5th columnists. Dodgy as.
  6. Am I missing something? TV pundits and plenty of others agree with O'Neil. It's interference. Offside no argument.
  7. That run in was epic. It also totally consumed me. No social media or WhatsApp for group therapy.
  8. Even though I didn't know it at the time they were terrific days. The best I've had following Bolton under a any manager. Hard to explain to someone who wasn't around at that time. They were so good I would have back us to get a result against any team in the country. Felt invincible. I💙BR
  9. Not a big fan of the kebab so don't often get them. But I had one from the Night Bar in Horwich after a night out. It was just what the doctor ordered. It was ace. Now then, I appreciate that when you're pissed most food tastes like food for the God's. So 9 months later after work I called at the Night Bar again. Sober and lucid I ordered another. To my surprise it was just as good as I remembered. The Night Bar in Horwich is my nomination for the Kebab Oscar.
  10. After the playoff defeat to Barnsley last season I said he wasn't good enough. But Evatt likes him. And he seems to have plenty of fans on his side. I thought maybe I'm missing something so when this season started I was willing to look at him again. I'm a patient fella but Nlundulu has shown nothing that even warrants a place in the bench.
  11. Only a little Englander would get upset over this result. Rubbish game but lessons to be learned in defeat.
  12. Not forgetting that Jimmy Greaves followed the lira too.
  13. Deep Purple at the AO in November. Can't wait.
  14. I was bothered about the Nike flag. How dare they. Now, after thinking about it, I couldn't care less.
  15. Indeed. Ian Rush couldn't get on a plane to Juventus quick enough.
  16. Big argument for Ajax. For me theres no place at the top table for PSG..... yet.
  17. If modern history counts then ancient history counts too. Preston and Huddersfield had their success and that is in the bank. Things have been lean for them since those glory days. If Huds & PNE hadn't have had them glory years they would be on a par with clubs like Peterborough, Hull and Reading. But for me they are a notch above them because of them days.
  18. Be at interesting to see where the none Wanderers fans on here put us, and the rest, in this list. Can only think of these two jockeys. @green genie @Pablo
  19. Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world no matter what any Man U or Blyth Spartans fan says.
  20. Too close to call between us and Rovers.
  21. Bolton & Blackburn are both bigger than Burnley. If you asked 100 fans today who's bigger I reckon Burnley would still be below both.
  22. I reckon your right. I once accidentally started a online debate on who's bigger, Sheffield U or Sheffield W. I said, and with no axe to grind, Sheff W were the bigger club. Obviously this rattled the Sheff U fans cage and as is normal on SM it got nasty between the Steel City brethren. But reading the neutral post it was as good as a 50/50 split.
