  1. The fact the season isn't starting until mid Sept buys them a bit of time to have a fire sale of players, but you need genuine and determined buyers whilst that is happening. We had that with MJ and SB but will Wigan find those type of buyers, imo Unlikely.
  2. There's 7500 ring pieces in Wigan all of a quiver right now.
  3. I can hear the door being shut about now by potential buyers.
  4. They've gone. Yessssss!
  5. George Taft a 6' 4" inch ball playing centre back. One way or another it's going to be entertaining next season but prepare to watch sometimes through your fingers.
  6. I can't forget or forgive those twats singing Bolton's going bust at our place. Then turning up outside our ground grinning, taking photos and revelling in our demise. I don't give a flying fuck if they fold.
  7. Both my daughter and I have declined the refund already. They need our support now more than ever and they deserve it too.
  8. Tranmere's manager fucking off to Dundee United. 😀
  9. I'm in total agreement with this, I've seen the photos of Wigan fans outside our ground last year like you say dancing on our grave.
  10. I'm thinking long term but if Wigan crash and burn then then both our nearest rivals will have gone. Eventually those town fans in a generation 10-20 years will support their local team, Bolton Wanderers.
  11. They need as many points as they can get but are the players going to paid now they're in admin? if they don't get paid then they aren't going to be pulling their tripe out. More likely scenario they are looking for their next contract elsewhere.
  12. I remember when they sang Bolton's going bust the last time they visited us. They can f*ckin' have some of it now. It's not a great time to be trying to find a buyer especially if other clubs go into admin in the next few weeks.
  13. 😆
  14. Harold Shipman should have waited before committing suicide if he knew Ian Shipman was going to take the rap.
  15. I'm not fussed if we don't get Evatt. Let's face it he has a cracking managerial record over the last 6 months only! 250k seems excessive for an unproven manager imo.
  16. And he's had 2 promotions with Blackpool from league 1 to the prem as a player. So deffo got something about him
  17. I can't divulge it wouldn't be fair, but unless he's lying to me it's true. I was astounded when I found out though, I didn't realise they paid that sort of money in the NL.
  18. My best mates grandson plays in the National league and earns 2k per week, he's told me.
  19. Aye, that night at Ewood was brilliant. Bolton swamped their ground.
  20. I'm old enough to remember when it was top 3 promoted and there weren't any playoffs. So for me the endings of season 75-76 when we finished 4th on the last day of the season and did the exact same thing the following season. West brom pipped us in 75-76 and Notts Forest in 76-77, who went on to great things. I was only young at the time and it broke my heart both times. Fortunately we went up as Champions the next season.
  21. Just hope win, lose or draw we don't get any more injuries.
  22. Richard Sneekes was the last one I remember. Every time he got on the ball "shooooot"
  23. Someone who plays football the right way and knows the lower divisions like the back of his hand, what more could you ask for! "Keith Hill he's one of our own"
  24. He could be from Atherton and supports Wednesday because his Dad did or his Grandad or whatever.. Anyway Sheff Wed are a good football club and they did have the misfortune of having Megson for a time, so we have something in common.
