80 Years.
My wife's grandad was there. Again, the same story, that he wasn't aware of anything having happened until he got off the bus. He lived in St. Helen's & worked at Pilks. Loads came from there. The Whites were a massive club with a wide following.

Them Wigan C **nts.
Well, seeing as the Football Club doesn't own the ground that's probably as well. I recall that their fifteen fans were less than impressed when he rescued them a couple of years ago.

What's that ? Catch Cardiff you say ?? How very dare you ??? Those "who know football" will be dropping on you soon. Of course it's unlikely but more likely than waiting for Lincoln to stall.

The Managerial Roundabout
I will never not rate Kevin Nolan. Best wishes to him.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
Only when it suits.

A View From The Other Side
Clive 'Flasher' Walker. Played over 1,000 games in his career. 750 league, scoring over 200 but best known for waving his cock at a bunch of fans.

Loan Watch
He came of at last werks gane after 30 minutes. So probably.

Our Loans In
What I did see was that Morley took very good, very deep, to the back post corners. Something we constantly saw not happen whilst with us as we gave those duties elsewhere.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
At that point the linesman has one fckg job.

Our Loans In
The amazing thing is that CBT was available from a then struggling Derby. He has appeared 9 times, no goals, no assists by that time. He played 22 times in his first season ... 1 goal. He signed there from Charlton in 2024 on a 3 year contract for £350k. None of this makes sense. The step up/down must be huge.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
Obviously CBT is getting the focus, but I very much liked Ruben Rodriguez performance.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
Absolutely. Though when I said this 3 or 4 months ago I got shite from 'the knowledgeable ones' on here.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
I was behind that & to tje left on that view Saw it, clear as day, it was fully over the line.

The Managerial Roundabout
Depends on your view of playing without the ball & a manager so stressed he looked like he was sleeping on a bench in Queen's Park. I'd be amazed if he wanted all that stress again.

Todays Games
... and I always return to the phrase "clear and obvious" which this fckg isn't. I don't care which team wins or loses from this decision, even if it was us, this should be returned to the live decision.

Todays Games
Unless you're an international.

Wycombe Wanderers (H)
Whilst I've accepted a playoff situation the little chance we have of auto's are by catching Cardiff.
-
New Playoff Format
So keeping playoffs down to 8th & approx 10-12 teams in with a shout right up to the end. Exciting possibilities for more clubs, for longer. I get it, I just hate it.

Significant games you only partially remember
We lost, at home, to Burnley 3-5 on Saturday November 19th. It was a Division 1 match Coronation Street hit our TV screens on December 9th 1960. But Peter Adamson's Len Fairclough character fist appeared in the 14th episode on January 25th 1961. He was born & raised in Kensington, Liverpool in 1930 so unlikely to be a Burnley, or Bolton fan. So ... he COULD have been at that match, but it's very unlikely. If he had been you wouldn't have recognised him as Len Fairclough.

Stop telling them they have anxiety would be a start.

Significant games you only partially remember
The Hull away game whete McGinley went goal. I got arrested after about an hour & frog-marched into a portakabin police station outside the ground. It's a good story. I believe we won.

Kids Footy
I'm a good 20yrs older. One pitch in a park in Burnley held water for the central third so deep you needed to produce a swimming certificate to be allowed to play. You're saying some kids today don't fancy getting muddy, or wet ? They must live very sheltered lives.

unsung players that folk might have forgotten about or never heard of
Add Syd Farrimond, Roy Hartle, Brian Bromley, John Napier, Dave Lennard to this.

My apologies. That was here.
