  1. Yep, but with us now playing and looking like scoring right up to the last whistle these draws look like two points lost rather than a point gained.
  2. Correct, but by Christ we've drawn too many.
  3. Just press pause. Oh, sorry you mean the 'keeper is injured' mid half breaks.
  4. And that's day fans coming in, not ST holders who've already committed for the swason.
  5. A third division club that was on it's arse 7 years ago. What a fan base too. Well done everyone.
  6. Mine too. Hopkinson, Ritson, Farrimond, Shire, Brian Bromley, John Hulme, Wyn Davies, Freddie Hill, Johnny Byrom a winger who’s name escapes me much later we had Gareth Williams, Stuart Lee. Too many to mention. I’m getting maudlin now
  7. But in Givens day he and others looked like keepers. They looked big. All arms and necks and shoulders. Some of the young ones now look like beanpoles. The game has changed though and it works.
  8. If we’re talking keepers look no further than the man who saved Bolton in the darkest of times Matt Gilks. When we needed someone to stop the downward spiral on and off the pitch Mr. Gilks got his gloves on.
  9. There is a20 minute highlight video on a premier league betting site but they asked that many questions I fucked it off.
  10. I’ve had a rethink, and a look up. Bolton v Leicester 2001 Robbie Savage made a horrible tackle on Colin Hendry which went unpunished then Holdsworth and Warhurst got sent off gunning for Savage. He got himself subbed off and all by the 24th minute. Good old Mike Riley eh ?
  11. Warhurst and Bruno N’Gotty I’m always getting them mixed up.
  12. Was it Paul Warhurst that shit Viduka up to get a second yellow and sent off when we tonked them and sent them down?
  13. Mike Whitlow used to wait until the striker was just past him and dive onto the back of his legs making it look like he’d been brought down.
  14. As expected. Hopefully it will gather in some waverers. Looks good too.
  15. Good afternoon sahib, my name is Gary and I can save you some money today for sure.
  16. In eventually but slow going today. That tune occasionally interrupted with “you are in a queue” will with me always.
  17. Yes, what a band.
  18. Must say I've been in shorts this week. Mornings were fine but afternoons got me a few head shakes.
  19. Whilst nicking their chips ?
  20. I don’t take any interest in him or his doings and I might get shot down in flames but he appears to be famous for being famous.
  21. Aye, it’ll knock out that.
  22. My favourite pirate joke. Long John, where are your buccaneers ? Side of me bucken head Miss Purity.
  23. Not trying to get away from FV thread but I worked with a young man who liked to sing Spice Girls songs. At the end he used to say "that's for you dad" he'd lost his dad through Covid. When I retired he sang the song as usual but at the end he said "that's for you John".
