Taking each game as it comes in this run of tough ones, a good, well earned point that we'd have had little expectation of a month ago.  More evidence of SS's impact on the mentality of the squad

  • ie and his bum chums on here were a big blow to this season. So obvious it was going tits up but we were told to stop being moaners. That said, it’s gone. For me it’s a free hit this season. If w

Expected, it's St David's Day....

  • The title was changed to Wrexham (A)

Expecting slim pickings for a pre match pint

I heard it was a full on Welsh assembly decision. On St David’s day they didn’t want Welsh folk having to keep switching to Welsh every time English folk walked into the pub. The early KO decision to get the English in/out early makes a lot of sense and will help the Welsh enjoy the day and reduce the humiliation English folk will feel in the Welsh pubs.

Town Crier at Chester then train to Wrexham General might be the only option.

Trains are a pain for this - might be drive, get in, 3 points and get out

That’s what I was thinking. Trains in to Wrexham General arrive either half 10 (which feels daft early) or 11:42 which feels a bit dicey if there’s any issues on the trains

A 12.30pm ko gives little time for pre match drinks. I can give some advice for those in need.

Post match, again, a good few options. Just ask.

Town centre is a dead & alive hole, plus weird Welsh looking for a scrap.  Just north of town there's a few good options.

Iirc the station is very near to the ground so arriving at 11-42 would be alright......IF the train is running & on time !!

Already resigned to not getting tickets.

Yeah virtually next door. It’s just the last bit that’s tricky!

Staying in Liverpool night before for a gig so will be train from there then meet mates. If we don't get tickets it'll be a pub in Liverpool. Sorted.

Fook off Sky, you fookin' fookers!

Silver lining, wee bar crawl round Chester on the way back.

What about the Game

Just sound like a bunch of

PISS POTS

Interesting that they are waiting till tonight's outcome before they make a decision on ticket sales for the league game.

Buy your vertu ticket to be first in queue for the league game? 🤣

Super fan points incoming for vertu trophy game.

I went to watch the reserves there once. Does it count for my 92 or do I need to go again ?

You have to buy both or you get none.

Or if you get one you're last in the queue for the other?  Wrexham's so amazing its not fair if you go twice.

Do we know when pizza cup game will be played??

It won’t be quite as complex as that, they’ll just want to avoid having both go on sale at a similar time as you can guarantee some fuckwit will buy for the Trophy game thinking (or claiming) they’ve bought for the league game

A Port Vale victory will resolve that and it’s only 30 minutes from home so I can go to it by train instead of driving to Wales.

Plas Coch is too far away, think we'll just drink in The Turf, that's nice and close to the away end.
