    Never forgive, never forget.

  • We might as well just win them all and remove any doubt.

I think at this point our focus just needs to be on the team in 7th place, 2nd is out of the question now, we have had plenty of opportunities and we've fell short. We're making great progress having

Depends on what’s decided this year

last season semi final away games was capped at 2k

was that not because some grounds had small areas

i dunno, cba checking :)

im guessing if we play barnsley, both clubs would go full end

gets a bit more difficult with derby or sheff wed

but hopefully we would match whatever they offered

Reading about it’s something to do with an EFL rule it’s 2k or 10% of the capacity

last year both clubs agreed on 2k

So the reward for getting over 90 points is an away leg at 8pm on a Friday. Nice one EFL

You'll be reet, it's Wednesday's problem.

In terms of who we'd face, I'd prefer a crestfallen Sheffield Wednesday over 2 legs than Barnsley.

Not too worried about Wednesday in the final so Barnsley for me

The online ticketing system will see tickets sold easily enough. Big rush maybe at first, but everyone will get sorted should we get there.

Will the issue not be that ST holders will get maybe 2 or 3 days rather than about 10 days, logistically that's going to be a tight deadline, then members a couple of days and open sale for a couple?  Very rushed when its added to whether folk can get travel sorted etc.  Most of us having work/school the next day presumably will keep numbers down.  In a nutshell, it will sort the committed from the rest.

Prob 10,000 less than the Papa Johns Final. The nice day out goes out of the window!

I’d expect us to take c22,000 if we got to Wembley again, but there again Papa John’s sales surprised all of us so you never know.

You’d hope that we’d enter discussions with Sheff Weds & Barnsley to allow each other more than the 2,000 each rather than leaving seats lying empty. Be a huge scramble again otherwise.

Also hadn’t thought of the Sheffield scenario. Could be fun!

My thoughts too

big difference this time pizza cup we had 6 weeks and shifted 34k this just over a week? and then you have the pricing you won’t get day trippers or hangers on paying this time

yes you’d think some arrangement would be made between the clubs as we certainly wouldn’t use the south stand ourselves

Not with the game being live on Sky & full price

Why does all our division kick off at 12.00 on final day??

Appreciate everyone starts at same time but the 2 PL games - at Newcastle and West Ham kick off at 16.30 and 19.00 respectively

Obviously Sky set the rules but cant see why our league dont kick off at 14.30 - doesn't effect coverage of the Greed is Good League

No valid reason but it’s not going to be changed

So that lads up and down the country can’t have a good piss up before the last game.

We probably wouldn't shift as many, but that won't be because there is only a week to buy them.

Can do it in the evening, whilst sitting down with a beer. Anyone that wants to go will be able to.

Cost and tv availability will have an impact.

They need to allow season ticket holders six each because we will shift more that way

got to get there first

Not when we didn’t sell out last time and some have done their Wembley trip for the next few years

That's true but there's a difference between those that actively want to go and wouldn't want to miss out whatever the circumstances or cost, and those that get talked into going or need a little persuading, or have to decide whether to cancel other arrangements/work to make it happen (and those who need to consider if cost can be justified).  They are the one's that won't get round to it inside a few days.

You would think "cup" prices could apply to this.  They are getting the Sky money and wouldn't want it to look less than half full.  Would struggle to get a decent crowd if its £25+, and all those kids that normally get taken on their £35 STs having to pay proper prices when they can just watch it at home.  £15 a ticket surely.

Its all pie in the sky yet, as we still have to beat a team that finished above us over two legs!

£36 to £98 last season with half price concessions

No chance, & Sheff Wed or Derby would sell all the tickets they could get their hands on.

Absolutely!

Is it purely a TV thing that the teams finishing 3rd and 6th get shafted on both legs, friday night and then a saturday dinner?
