Unlike last season our Lancashire derbies in 23/4 will carry a little more significance.

We're all looking forward to the chance to set thing straight with them Wigan cunts next season. 

Older fans will also be looking forward to our other main local derby - our old friends the donkey lashers from Bloomfield Road. Their Bolton obsession clearly continues unabated. Mention BWFC to a Blackpool fan and it's a guarantee they'll become animated. Surveys of rivalries consistently rank us as their 2nd most hated team behind PNE. It's not a guarantee it'll work. He bombed at QPR in his short spell there and has not track record other than at Blackpool first time around. I guess he must have been given some guarantee of funding.

Good appointment. Can see it ending in tears again. He’s split fans on how he left and a slow start will be nice.

Not sold on Critchley. He's had a few years away from the youth set ups now so many players he was well aware of will have moved on.

Hes got to start again with building credit with top flight clubs for getting loans

What's gone on there I was under the impression they'd come back in their droves after the ownership change

 But based on league position for last 4-5 seasons they are a much bigger club than us.

Expect Santos to make the journey over to link back up with young Connor and Traf.

I've no reason to speak up for Blackpool, but they did only announce prices 3 weeks ago and started selling 17th May; early bird prices are till 2nd July.  Well done BWFC for selling from Feb to April for early bird, prior to knowing what division we'd be in.  Blackpool may have benefitted doing the same when they still had hopes of being a championship club.

It reads to me that there's a Seaside version of the anti-Neil Hart stuff going on. The 23/24 Season Tickets are 'only £20 lower than this season' and you either use an App or pay £20 (coincidence  ??) for a plastic card you swipe in with.

You'd need to be old, but Wet Spam used to always get the end of August Bank Holiday for the match at Blackpool. They'd overrun the town for 3 days & create bedlam.

Hell of a lot of shit went down at that play off final too.

Loads of West Ham in Blackpool end seemingly not giving a shit, fighting dads with lads and all that caper.

I don’t think there is any chance the Blackpool away game  will be a 3 o’clock Saturday. I’m expecting another Tuesday night game in November
