Here for a period of months. Pint of Mahou where I am 2.5EUR in certain places. Victoria Malaga same. It was 3EUR up until 30th September.

Well used to it by now but still only 5EUR for a bottle of most spirits which never fails to astound me.

Missus likes the odd Aperol Spritz now and again. 5EUR covers the bottles of Aperol and Prosecco in total! One glass of this in Perth would be around the 10EUR mark minimum.

God bless the Andalusian junta!

How much was Alhambra out of interest. Love that stuff. Always seems cheap as chips. My new favourite is Augustiner though!!! Woof

cheers. Had some the other night. All good to be fair.

Im not sure I’ve ever had a shit German beer. I don’t include 2000’s becks on draught as German. Stuff is incredible. I’ll never understand why I’m this country we accept such wank beer.

The beers of Munich are the clear top boys but Astra and Holsten Edel of Hamburg are delightful also. I’d move tomorrow if I could convince the tribe.

They'll be doing a show from the Isle of Man hopefully.

Now that post brexit, certain fishing has returned.

Anyway, I'm hoping for something bigger tomorrow.

What type of "fishing has returned" that wasn't possible when we were in the EU?

Not come across it this time mate. Loads of Cruzcampo places. Mahou and San Miggy too. My usual favourite is Estrella Galicia (not the sweet stuff from Barcelona!). Was taken to a place recently in Estepona where they served a darker Estrella Galicia (resembled the colour of Smithwicks - reddish tinge) which was superb. The Irish owner of the bar had buggered off before I could ask him the details.

Liking Victoria Malaga more and more these days, readily available everywhere. Don't even mind the Lidl special - Argus Suave! Six bottles for EUR1.49 out of season!

Coincidentally, I frequent the Spanish Club in Perth pretty regularly as they have various football events including an amateur world cup each year which is usually won by either Italy or Brazil.

I only mention this because the main beer at this venue is Alhambra which I am sure that you would approve of ;)

All good beers to be fair. I think I can get into the Perth Spanish club. Someone on here told me they’d put it in a cricket club here, all a rouse to make me watch cricket it seems. Oh well.

gaffel am dom brewhouse near the cathedral

we supped crap loads of the stuff in there

Just getting into Belgian beers, instead of drinking the crap that they brew over here. La Chouffe is good, but not as good as the excellent Karmeliet tripel. Have been recommended this. So, I have purchased a few bottles.

Westmalle Tripel

Dangerous as well, the locals seemed to sit round one all night where we just continued to have it flowing and topping up. Some serious drinkers in our party who couldn't take hair of the dog till around 6 the next day.

Not googled. I assume it was related to either coolness or freshness?

San Miggy....

Made my teeth itch that.
