Where's that ale thread gone?

I've just been on Morrison's at Harwood.

What the fuck is this all about?

Ma Bessies Apple Pie and Custard IPA.

£2.50 a tin.

It is, people seem to rave about it, and I just can't get on with it at all - it's also about £7.50 a pint in the one pub near me that sells it

Loft loved that Neck Oil when we went to Wembley. Mind you he's usually on some Belgian bottled shite at 8%.

Especially when he rings me, mithering about cricket when I'm trying to get in the Little John. I can't get rid of him and I don't like cricket.

No. I can't understand how anything can last five days and still be a draw.

Went Prague about 20 years ago, visited the brewery and came back with loads of variations of freshly made stuff you won't find over here

Top quality it was

Tennent’s is finally back in stock at B&M. Stop the count.

Dont understand this "on my own " i go to the pub every day and i am never on my own!

Cant serve yourself for a start .

Tomorrow after the game if we win will be rammed , but there will be folks outside at 12 waiting for the door to open before the match

I love a pint on my own more than anything. But like you say it has to be in a pub.

Sat on a park bench alone doesn't quite cut it :)

Sunday afternoon. Bay Horse. Me. My pint. Footy on telly. Perfection.

Had some cunt plonk on my table with his gammon and egg the other week.

He wasn't in my company long.

@jeep

Anything brewed and canned/bottled in Czechia is leagues ahead of anything brewed in the UK under the same brand name.

@BobyBrno put me on to some Sainsbury’s own brand Czech lager a while back that was as good as anything I’ve ever had, but I don’t see it on their shelves much these days. Maybe Boby has some more gems he can advise on.

Unfortunately not. Rarely drink beer at home now. It was a COVID thing for me. Not sure what happened to that Sainsbury’s Czech Lager. It was actually brewed at the Staroprmen brewery in Prague while the Staropramen one was brewed in the UK. 🤷‍♂️
Rivington Brewery do a good range of canned beer though as most on here already know. 👍

Most days when I worked in Warrington I'd have a pint on the way home. Once the regulars started asking had I been working? had a hard day? and other pleasanteries I'd move on. They were right miserable bastards in the Cart and Horses at Astley. Aye, I spent many a happy hour in there.

On a par.

i was more referring to Czech lagers really and how much better they are when they come direct from the country rather than an imitation from Derbyshire.
