We sold him after he and his dad fell out with the club didn't we? Not sure what it was about but they were very bitter. Tony Caldwell flattened him when we first came up against him at Lincoln.

I always thought he left cos joyce was goldenballs

Nowt to do with his dad being on the staff

Ridiculous losing him as we did

He came from forest, so i guess mcgovern brought him?

  • Nah that was the FA Cup, Craig Short and all that Coleman injury was a league game on Granada TV on a Sunday

  • Dunno but l will remember that Blackburn lass in a black fur coat who got hit square on with a meat&potato pie forever. It was like a laser guided exocet missile right in to her solar plexus.

Who was that dirty bastard who played for Chelsea late 70s early 80s I think. He was there captain, played in defence.Played for them when they charged burden paddock when they got on the pitch and he stood there egging them on

Ron Harris?

Was there the first time we came across him  at QPR away, 2000ish

Along with Iain Dowie warming up on touch line

So lots of appearance based abuse went their way

Seem to recall Dowie came on for Crouch and that's when it peaked

I think it changed to Ugly Freak for Dowie iirc

He had one over us did collymore. Rinsed us for Southend, twice for Forest and then for Liverpool.

Remember him cupping his ear in front of the Burnden paddock.

Think we got our own back watching Andy Todd smash his face in mind.

His performance at Burnden earlier that season is still up there with one of the best I've seen from an opposing player. Gerrard at the Reebok probably tops it though.

Of course the ultimate villain never got his comeuppance from us. A certain Mr. Knight.

I do wish he'd have reffed a match at the Reebok after that bastard game. Pantomime? He'd have been strung up by his magic beans. Seriously, can you imagine the reception as he walked out to the centre...

who didnt stand up regardless of whether they'd shagged posh spice? i mean... i dont want to confirm or deny any rumours; but i stood up

I remember him proper losing his head after the Reebok singing "does she take it up the arse" for at least 45 mins.

Changed after the England Greece game and he even got a ripple of applause.

I remember hating Bob Taylor at West Brom but that was cause I was secretly jealous.

Went to a Sportsmans years ago and Wilf McGinness told some cracking stories about the abuse he got off Wanderers fans.

Hands up who in the Burnden Paddock got a direct hit on the back of his head with a meat and potato when he was taking a throw on Black Sunday?

Chat shit. Get Banged. Bosh.

I understand Beckham getting wound up about Posh Spice chants but the strangest one for me was how much Viduka let the chants of Swing low sweet chariot affect him when we sang it everytime he touched the ball on Rugby World Cup final day 😁

Wayne Jacobs. Not so much stick but if you know, you know.

Almost every L1/L2 goalkeeper that is playing at our place and their team is either drawing or winning. Time wasting / play acting wankers.

Bassett wasn’t it? Then they discovered an irregular heartbeat so he retired?

 Dean Kiely for Charlton

Ffjortoft for Swindon seem familiar

Waddle playing up to the crowd for Bradford

Your right! Dave Bassett, Adams came in afterwards.
