  • That was pathetic, abject, depressing, slow, inept, cowardly, and utterly humiliating. I'm one of the so-called "happy clappers", but it's clearly time for a refresh.

When a manager is under pressure and debate is raging about him there’s always A defining moment when everyone agrees it’s time to put an end to it. Today was that moment.   anything that comes

  • They simply have to pull the trigger now. A new manager coming in at this point has plenty of time and a decent amount of points on the board to build a promotion charge. We should be right

We only have one centre half available for the Wycombe game; we will get battered

We may as well play with one centre back when there's three available for the job they do

Professional ball watchers the lot of them

First of all big Vic is not fit to wear a number 9 Bolton shirt secondly spoke to a former player after our last home defeat IE refused to talk to the away manager  who just wanted a chat slammed his office door and locked it and wouldn't speak to anyone don't think he is in a good mental place

Because he (allegedly) slammed a door?

That Morley at Wycombe seems to be playing every week in midfield pulling the strings, worth a punt? Oh hang on!

Victors stats todays:

Potential Headed Duels: 20

Times he jumped: 1

Times he won duel: 0

Runs in to space: 0

Shots in Target: 0

Balls bouned off him: stopped counting at 10

Fit to lace super johns boots: Lolz

Oh dear that bbc manc interview is a fucking bad one lads 🤣

He's delusional as fuck

Rather than pinning the blame solely on Victor, maybe questions should be asked of why keep pumping a ball up to him? He showed only last week he's not that kind of striker.

Heard a few rumours about Mcatee and his negative affect on the squad recently, seems to be constantly arguing with people on the pitch

Then a proper manager, or a coach, sorts him out.

Or George cracks him one. It happens everywhere.

Though maybe he has reason to be arguing.

Blame goes across the team. 100%.

But we've a striker that doesn't score, or even threaten to... and 3 centre backs where 1 is free to roam about playing sexy balls to his inept mates.....

May as well start with 9.....oh, hang on...

Charles is fucking abysmal, Vic will take the shit no doubt.

Not saying he is good either to be clear

Both were abysmal, the reason the selection of Vic gets more criticism is because he's more bad over a longer period of time, and IE rates him enough to have spent half a mil on him then turned down £1mil.

How have we got to the stage, after spending millions and letting plenty of other players leave, that we start a big game with Vic?  We can get away with when its cannon fodder we are playing, not pressure games.  Yet Vic's started the last 3 v Wigan and we wonder why the ball isn't sticking up front or even getting the occasional flicked on header.  The contrast with Aasgaard was like kids playing v adults.

Maybe because our manager has lost the plot.

I don’t understand who or what we are anymore. I’m in the out after Oxford camp but for me he took the criticism he received way to far and has tried to re-invent the wheel and sadly it’s failing miserably.

All that was needed was a couple of additions to the squad to enable us to change things up mid game if it wasn’t going our way not a complete overhaul and destruction of what we were!

What are we now? We’re not direct, we don’t press, we’re shite at defending, we don’t keep possession and use space well. Evatt doesn’t know his best team still after 18 league games and we’ve clearly ran out of sensible ideas now. We’ve even got wingers playing at wing back on the opposite side to their natural footing. It smacks of desperation.

if you didn’t already know, the time has come and gone already and until he’s left this ‘dark cloud’ over our club will be going nowhere.

None of that today was Victor's fault whatsoever.

He's not bloody Kevin Davies.

The problem was us getting pressed to death and having no idea what to do it. Then pumping it up to Vic who had two defenders crawling over him.

Why don't we talk about Dion who couldn't trap a fucking fart and has a touch like the Yorkshire ripper?

Or any of the other shit cunts that bottled it?

GT, absolutely anonymous and played himself out of the game?

Johnstone, yards off the pace, leaving acres of space?

Both full backs taking 3 touches too many and turning inside?

There were loads more at fault than Vic today.

It’s staggering that he played the exact formation, team and tactics that have proven time after time after time to not work.

Not once has mcatee in midfield worked. Not once.

not once has booting it to victor worked.

Mark Robbins or Steve Schumacher for me.

Neill for me, proper turned Sunlun round after we smashed them 6.0.

Robins best alternative.

I think it’s getting to the stage that I’d take fucking Krusty the clown at this point

No outfield should be getting singled out after that. They were all shite, every one of them. Not one of them comes out with any credit. Lacked quality, lacked bottle, lacked urgency. Just garbage. They deserved it 100 percent. And they, Wigan, are shite , and their fans know they are shite, and they were still miles better than us.

No because he has been known to be polite and chat to opposite team managers in the past to discuss the game as a lot of managers do

Anyone who thinks Evatt should stay after that shower of a first 45 mins must be blind.

He set us up completely light in midfield so one pass and they had us under pressure with wide men 1v1 against our outside centre backs. He's been completely outcoached again from a tactical point of view, and from a getting the players up for it.

No point debating much more about the match - he needs sacking immediately.

What’s this wank fest over Mark Robins all about?

There's only McAtee for me that could come anywhere near to getting any kind of credit today. At least he put a shift in.

Probably because he got them promoted from division 3 to 2.

Then he overachieved on a restricted budget, whilst making a profit on players.
