Check out this gem.

Not a car in the whole fcking advert 😄

Makes Bud Lights advertising team look sane.

Fucking hell. Are you sure that's not St. Pauli Supporters Club?

All the right wingers can start boycotting Jaguar now - the same way all the left wingers are boycotting X.

Hurrah for 2024 🤣

Fuck off. My 1965 E Type is staying under its dust cover and being lovingly polished once a fortnight.

All my life I’ve worked for companies that made things. I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about. If that  ad. Increases sales then I’ll eat my hat.

Is he speaking Swahili?

Like I said, let's see.

If it works, fine.

A difficult metric to accurately confirm.

The point here is that advertisers are paid to raise awareness.

The company sales team is then paid to do the rest.

I doubt many Jaguar sales guys will be too unhappy at the publicity.

As they say, the only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about.

Nobody here is discussing the latest Volvo ads

And yet

It’s got you all worked up.

Advertisers dream.

The bud light advert had millions talking about it.

Anheuser-Busch's estimated losses were estimated at $395.

Their share price plummeted.

Folk can create clever phrases, even make a whole science out of it all.

Just another example of the emperors new clothes.

It's the bottom line that matters.

How’s Bud doing these days?

It is indeed.

Do you really believe that such discussions will be the thing that secures future sales?

It will be the cars themselves; the reviews and early customers' feelings and reports on the experience, reliability etc.

I spent some time last night reading such things about the ipace.

A great car, well appreciated for its looks, equipment etc.

Unfortunately, for those looking for practicality as well, it had a significantly slower DC charging speed, and lower range than competitors'.

I doubt the badge change will make much of a difference if the cars are good, although it's a shame.

No idea.

I presume the sales have returned somewhat as time has passed.

Irrelevant though. The losses were made and can't be got back.

I’d be surprised if Jaguar go pop because they used a gay in an advert.

He's fresh from University and spouting buzzwords.

Bless.

Bit like when this happened and their brand name got splashed across the globe. Then by amazing coincidence their website "malfunctioned" for a bit and handed out top class seats at rock bottom prices. So the world and his wife was entering Cathay Pacific into search engines, as if the whole thing planned all along....
