The Table

How does it work ?

Under Evatt we could not string 2 results together but were always just outside the playoffs.

Under SS we seem to win nearly every week and are just outside the play offs.

If only we had beat Reading ! 😂

Since SS took over it’s been one game at a time. And apart from the odd round of games it’s been us that have benefited massively We’ve gone from hoping to maybe scrape 6th place in the playoffs

  • Sounds boring and cliche but the next one is the most important one.

To show how things have changed, I bet I wasn't the only one that was a bit gutted when Orient won at Wrexham less than 3 weeks ago!

Wycombe have a tough finish but I can't see Wrexham messing that up, not with Parky in charge and the forwards they've got

Someone to put a stop to Wrexham?

Yes it would be nice, but I don't reckon we missed our chance particularly, we have drawn both games, which isn't to be sniffed at.

I'd be very happy if 2 or 3 more held them to draws.

Wrexham get beat at Reading and Wycombe and we win our next two it’s 2 points on same games

But then Wycombe will be further ahead

Wrexham's next 3 aren't easy but after that, bar Charlton it's pretty easy looking for a team that's been up there all season with a manager who's got 5 promotions to his name

I want to believe we will win every game from here on in but I'm not getting my hopes up

Aim for me is to get home advantage second leg in play offs, anything else is a bonus

We've got 8 less points than Wrexham this season, so the way to claw them back realistically is to win at least one game against them, the 2 draws suited them more than us.

We still have the chance to claw back 3 points on Wycombe (and Stockport).  Our wins against Orient are the reason we are above them, if we'd held on to our lead v Charlton we'd be 6 points above them too.  I just think we needed to win at Wrexham if we wanted to catch them, not saying that's easy or that 0-0 isn't a decent result, but now we need favours from quite a few other teams, not just 2 or 3.

Wrexham have as many tough games as we have - Reading and Wycombe away, Stockport, Charlton and Blackpool are going to be particularly tough.

We just need to focus on our own job and see where it takes us.

Lets not get too carried away lads, we've been shite for over half the season.

Each game as it comes.

We would've all taken an outside shot at the play offs a few weeks back. I'm just glad that it is starting to come together particularly under a different manager.

too right

whatever happens

so long as we finish top 6 it's job done

the higher the better

Points per game basis, we finish on 79 points, which last season was good enough for 5th.

However, slightly skewed maths, as we were crap more for half the season - I reckon 82 points will be enough for 4th (getting the second leg at home) and I do think 22 points from our next 11 games is achievable for us at 2 PPG

In the 9 League games since Evatt departed, we've picked up 22 points (2.44 PPG)

Serious pace, but I'm confident

The longer our winning streak goes on, the more pressure it puts on the teams above. As we saw last season Derby slipped up a couple of times under the pressure, as we did.

I’ll be watching with a keen eye on the Reading v Wrexham tomorrow.

Right everyone needs to get a grip

We are going up it's that fucking simple 😘

And the longer it goes on the more confidence in our players it breeds.

It is why every game for now is ‘massive’.

If we won that game in hand, 5 points from promotion!

Pfft!

Pfft!

And now three points behind Charlton with a miles worse GD and both Reading and Huddersfield only 2 points behind us. We could be out of it if we don’t win a couple in the next 3

Super computer has us finishing 7th on 74 points

Probably right; that fuck up at Bristol Rovers (helped by a cheating referee) has screwed us and we need to win where we never do against Blackpool and Wigan to put us back on track

So the so called Super Computer can predict idiot referee decisions, defenders cock ups, moments of skill and terrible pitches! Total garbage

pre brum, i did my predictions

fortunately, we performed v brum

we are a point behind what i guessed and i expect little from the next 2

still on for 76 points
