Only the most wealthy fans in the world will be at this world cup supporting their team. Doesnt scream fun to me.  If England get to the final, i'd genuinely rather be in england than at the game

  • If it wasn't for my lads I wouldn't want us anywhere near the premier league.

I was really looking forward to this World Cup ... but they can stick it up their arses now.

Thieving Mickey Mouse shagging Septic arseholes aren't having a dime of my money that I'd saved up for to enjoy this tournament.

Seems that FIFA set the prices.

Bent as fuck nonetheless.

Nowt we can do about FIFA, unless the top teams who generate most of the viewing money, and conversely the advertising and sponsorship, tell them they won't comply unless the start all over again, FIFA have no reason to change,  a bit like UEFA

On line with two old workmates, one in Philadelphia, one in SanDiego. Both sports crazy.

Whilst it'd be an exaggeration to say they're unaware of the '36 World Cup it'd be only just.

It's not penetrative that it's rolling along, or it's scale, or it's pricing.

I've thought about this before.

Major countries withdraw from fifa, and start their own body.

I know. Everyone forgets Bechuanalands great victory in 36.

Just announced there will some £45 tickets for WC. Not many I guess.

10% of an associations allocation per game so for Croatia it’s 400. Won’t even cover all members who have the most caps

"See, we do care about the fans"

What a fucking joke. Around five hundred per game for 'the peasants'.

The folk who made the game what it is.

FIFA. Fundamental Indiscriminate Fleecing Association.

It’s complete tokenism from FIFA to demonstrate they have listened.

avg of 400 tickets per game and there are currently 610 “top cappers”

So there is going to have to be a ballot of those 610 to determine who gets the £45 tickets. Now, the FA simply doesn’t have the resource to ballot each individual game to ensure those cheap tickets are allocated fairly.

result of that being, if your successful in the ballot then your likely to be allocated the cheap tickets for every game. So, England get to the final and 1 lad pays £360 for the 8 games and his mate sat next to him, who he has done every game with in the past 4 years still has to pay near £5,500 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm waiting for FIFA to announce you also get a free key chain, just to make the offer better

That'd probably end up making it even worse, the greed would still be there. All the smaller nations locked out and the big ones, charging what they like

They could be classy, and offer a badge that your mum/wife/ can sew on to our football top....or even better, our jeans

Can't we have a miniature Jules Rimet trophy with the bite mark of Nobby Stiles in it instead?

Or Infantino.

FIFA's prize piece.

Thats not done me any favours at all.  ESTC had a 'dummy ballot' and I was in Cat 3 for a final ticket, now they've got the cheap tickets for the top cappers ill be sliding into Cat 2, which is  £4,167.27p for the ticket.   So many members of the England Travel Club are going on a two week holiday instead of doing games.   I was gutted when I saw what they'd done 😆 🤣
