Aye - shocking.  There’s a few countries around that part of Africa where Islam has been used as an excuse for violence for a while.  Has a quick google on Mali as well - thankfully (?) current reports are about trouble between the military and insurgents, not civilians.  Religions eh and the way some folk interpret them. Worshiping the devil in the name of god. Mind you I think these folk would be the same if religion existed or not.
