It was just a pleasant surprise for the people on stadium tours

The elephant needs to get back on top of the badge.

I like the old school badge but our current one is so much more distinctive at first glance, especially for neutrals. I think that's one of the reasons you seem to spot Bolton stickers, tops etc everywhere because it's so easy to recognise (as well as us being massive obviously). So I'd stick with the current one.

Sheff Wednesday went back to their historic badge the last 10 years and have decided to switch back to their 70s owl and immediately it looks more recognisable.

I wish I could share your optimism of purple, but it’s definitely maroon.

It is.

In all fairness, he's "gone back", so putting his shirt on show is an odd choice...

Also the club did start putting subtle messages in the transfer announcement videos last season. I can remember there being a bar sign saying "cissokho slammer" on the video announcing his signing.

What a video!

Shame about the green sponsor for the 4th year in a row.

Still looks very sleek though.

Well done BWFC. You do wonder if they leaked on purpose. Great vid

Not sure white text on a white shirt would work...

£42 for a baby kit. Going to cost us some money this @Traf

New player at the end of the video?

Tis a thing of beauty and loving the all white.

Now, small titbit for you young uns,  the reason we went to playing in all white back in 2005/6/7 was big sam idea.  Was always trying to gain that 1% edge and he wanted opposition to see Real Madrid in the all white kit.

Not sure how I remember this considering I forget last week sometimes.

Perhaps the sponsors aren't massively keen on changing their logo?

Both correct, but the white shorts did make the Kevins' (Davies & Nolan) arses look massive.

Been a right roller coaster of emotions of late. Three play-off games and two new arrivals in an 18-day period. The ticker's taken a pounding.

Number 1 due any day for us

I went to one of those ‘lunch with Big Sam’ events at the Reebok and someone asked him why we went to all white. “Because I like it” he said.

End of discussion.😊
