  • Can’t believe the panic and overreaction. We absolutely annihilated them for 65-70 mins. Someone has already said it but it was like a cup game with leagues between the teams. Their fans cheered

  • I really don't think we are far off being a proper outfit. All the ducks are in a row. It'll happen.

  • We can't not make subs. The players he took off were flagging. Unless he changes the whole shape of the team at 1-0 up and goes either defensive or all out attack it will always be like for

How bad is amcATee

Gale is awful as well

Really really poor after those subs. Strange breaking up Simons and Erhahon.

When we’re desperate I can understand wholesale changes but it’s too many too often. All our rhythm gets lost. Thrown this away tonight to get certain players 10/15 mins. Nonsense for me

Scoring 1 in 20 and conceding 1 in 5 is a big issue

If we can't see out games from a winning position and kill games off, it's going to be a carbon copy of last season unfortunately. Very much 2 points dropped.

Really knocked my confidence in any sort of successful season that has, really poor.

Admire your faith.

Still lacking that clinical edge- at both ends.

I was doing this as I typed it

So pissed off with this shit; Gale is awful and McAtee started the rot.

I'm hoping we can be better, because fuck me we need to be

How many times are going to hit the woodwork this season too FFS

Erhahon was winning everything then he takes him off 🫤

He took him off because he was knackered. Both of the midfielders looked fucked last 20. We lost control 10 minutes before their goal. We needed to make that change earlier.

It's 2 points lost there. Game should of been done and we've been Sucker punched again.

We need to figure out how to get more shots on target because for all the dominance, there isn't enough that comes of it.

No way are we getting promoted with pricks like McAtee in the squad

Well, you don't get more Bolton than that!!!!

Could see it coming as soon as someone remembered you can use subs.

If he was as bad as that spelling, awful! 😂

He's coming back from injury?

No injury not had a lot of preseason games according to SS load of bollocks really take him off when he starts to tire not before

Do you think he was looking knackered, and was flaggin'?

A one goal lead, we were still doing fairly well, and largely in control.

Not the first time our rhythm has been cocked up by subs.

Simply have to be more professional.

Time for that of course, but it is so frustrating, and not overly surprising.

Get a grip man

Dalby looked a cart horse as well, still desperate for another striker.

He had started to tire

Really? Just observational, not particularly emotional response, it's just symptomatic of what this squad is.

Can't take their chances and concede soft goals, not much has changed from last year.

Blame lies with the manager for me there. Subs weren't right and too disruptive, was the wrong time to bring Dalby on having been out for so long. Constantly giving the ball away up top which just piled the pressure on our defence. Poor game management to let Reading dominate from 65 minutes, they deserved their equaliser. We were so frantic.

We're just off it. 5 points from a possible 12 is a poor start and we're not clinical enough in the final third.

There is a lot of quality in this squad though. If we can starting gelling soon then I can see us kicking on.

With the scale of changes we needed, it was always going to be tricky to hit the ground running.

I agree. Well on top but only 1 up so subs not necessary and killed the game for us

They all had but the change didnt work that’s what you live and die by as a manager the subs didn’t get us over the line
