Granted we should have been at least 1 up at HT, but with two difficult away games on the horizon (and our away form this season isn't great), we could quite easily end up 7 points adrift of top spot (also, I know we could well be top). Just my thoughts, its a long season and no one team have got a grip of the league as yet. Fingers crossed at Luton! Eh, we need to improve our away form anyway, given our massive following

Although any Wigan or Blackpool defeat is always welcome.

Good to see they've got a game tonight to get the 5-0 out of their system, you just know they won't lose tonight. And a nice change for another team to have a tough midweek game before they play us rather than the other way round.

As long as we get a clean sheet as far as i am concerned that is job done for the back four Its no big deal because he's quality and he'll recover. But I'd say a big reason he's in the team rather than Taylor is his attacking/creative ability. His passing and dribbling is a class above when he's on form. His defending isn't noticeably better than any of our other full backs. If its all about whether we keep a clean sheet Taylor would have a decent shout to be playing IMO. There's no doubt in my mind Conway had a bad game by his standards, passing was right off and not as adventurous in possession, but its not a concern.

Some folk don't half have a blind spot when it comes to Max Conway.

It isn't an unreasonable idea though-he did say "during" his career. The lad carries the ball very well, and looks very comfortable in possession. I suppose nowadays, full backs are required to be more attacking than they once might have been, but the lad does have something about him to suggest he could play further forward. Would still be out wide I reckon though.
