Just spoke to my Dad - this year is his first season ticket since 78. He sounded like a 8 year old not 80. Not sure he'll sleep tonight!

  • Still gelling, tough game today, both sides had chances  End of the day, they're slipping, we are not. We are moving in the right direction Expecting a serious second half of the season push

4 points out of 6 will do nicely tbf

If Luton beat Huddersfield tonight then they’re just on the edge of the play offs and it becomes a similar big marker

We don’t want Luton to lose tonight and another Peterborough win against Stevenage would be great

Was just meaning in terms of their form and stature

Plus, given how close things are, we could just do with everyone else drawing all the time. Although any Wigan or Blackpool defeat is always welcome.

Eh, we need to improve our away form anyway, given our massive following

When I heard that Luton had lost 5-0 I thought that spelled trouble for us going there next.  Good to see they've got a game tonight to get the 5-0 out of their system, you just know they won't lose tonight.

And a nice change for another team to have a tough midweek game before they play us rather than the other way round.

He has set the bar high this season and i cannot  go against what you are saying....Christie had much the same game and also never got forward much and i am happy to have him at right back over JDC who gets up and down the line.

As long as we get a clean sheet as far as i am concerned that is job done for the back four

Its no big deal because he's quality and he'll recover.  But I'd say a big reason he's in the team rather than Taylor is his attacking/creative ability.  His passing and dribbling is a class above when he's on form.  His defending isn't noticeably better than any of our other full backs.  If its all about whether we keep a clean sheet Taylor would have a decent shout to be playing IMO.

There's no doubt in my mind Conway had a bad game by his standards, passing was right off and not as adventurous in possession, but its not a concern.

Correct.

Some folk don't half have a blind spot when it comes to Max Conway.

Here's a blind spot, or not. I see him moving into midfield during his career & doing very well indeed there.

An energy sapping, morale deflating draw after being in front.

Aye all those managers and coaches he's played for through his development and current standing have got his position wrong.

It isn't an unreasonable idea though-he did say "during" his career.

The lad carries the ball very well, and looks very comfortable in possession.

I suppose nowadays, full backs are required to be more attacking than they once might have been, but the lad does have something about him to suggest he could play further forward. Would still be out wide I reckon though.
