Popular Post boltonboris Posted October 24, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2025 Don't worry, he's not injured.. Just a little anecdote from yesterday Mason Burstow has moved onto my street - I'm putting the recycling out yesterday and he's stood outside my house with his dog and his missus. As my 9yr old lad was stood by me, he's going "Dad look it's Burstow" so I shout "Nathan, sorry to bother you, please can I get a quick photo of you with my son" So he says, Course, no problem - Really friendly and happy to oblige, Spoke briefly to my son and we got the pic. I said "cheers Nathan, appreciate that mate - Good luck on Saturday" Got in the house and my son says "Dad, he's called Mason, not Nathan!" FFS I felt like a right prick!!! Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Wonderful story. You'll just be that nice, old, rather confused guy from up the road. Quote

Reminds me of meeting Okocha a few times as a teenager. He was always so friendly & up for a chat. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Nice story. I wonder how long his rental is for, supposedly he could be recalled in about 10 weeks 😀 I don't think that'll happen BTW, but it must be a right ballache for players on loan, on a practical level. Quote

We’re quite lucky where we live as there are a few players past and present live within a couple of hundred yards of us. Exception is that I actually remember their first names 🫣 We've got Vela, Clough (still owns it), Coleman, I believe Morley does or did, but never seen him and now Burstow (think he’s renting off Coleman while he’s in London). He was particularly buzzing for Burstow though. We all love a striker. My son and his mate had a photo with Osei-Tutu a few weeks back and were buzzing thinking it was Cozier-Duberry the little racists Quote

Yep. If you ever notice players when they have family photos on Instagram, the inside of their houses look completely soulless and bare. For this reason. They live light Quote

He must be making a fortune mate. 100 kids per session, 2-3 sessions per evening, 5 nights a week. £40-50 per kid, per month. I know he’s got insurance, public liabilities, part time coaches to pay and pitches to rent, but that’s some serious dollars flowing through And he charges £45 for a £25 Joma set the robbing cunt.
