November 23, 2025Nov 23 Just looking at Eze tonight and remember him standing out.for.qpr in circa 2019, when ameobi got crocked and ultimately led to our relegation..imo.. Anyway.he was at arsenal as a kid, got binned off for nothing as a kid, they then spend 70 mill to buy him back.. What are the other stand out examples, apart from pogba, of teams going back in....?
November 23, 2025Nov 23 Citeh spent a bunch bringing Traf back only to then spend another shit ton bringing in donnaruma.

November 23, 2025Nov 23 Barcelona paid £35M to buy Fabregas back off Arsenal after he went there for nothing but then sold him to Chelsea for roughly the same
November 23, 2025Nov 23 Didn't we get Bob Taylor from West Brom on a free. Then sold him back for something like £250,000. Got Andy Walker for around £150,000 from Celtic and sold him back to them for £500,000.

They sold Minteh to Brighton the same month for the same reason, £68 mil profit on 2 players, supposedly to avoid a points deduction.

Essentially doing each other favours.

The bollox about him not understanding a lass serving in a fast food shop is such shite. We signed him believing Campo was leaving. The day after Campo did sign. Hamann must have realised he was going straight onto the bench & so got in contact with Citeh who'd been trying to get him.

I'm not saying we should feel sorry for multi millionaire footballers, but with the PSR rules, there must be some players enjoying playing for their local club, kids going to local schools etc, no intention of moving, who are told "you're moving to Nottingham next week". I'm sure it comes with a long contract and a pay rise, but still, they won't have much say in it presumably if the club are in danger of getting sanctions.
