CELEBRITY DEADPOOL 2026

Featured Replies

A lot of photos doing the rounds on social media taken over the last few weeks with him looking in good health. He was still doing sportsman’s dinners 3 weeks ago. Very sad. R.I.P.

Ah don't worry, "good riddance" remember. An outspoken politician, could rub folk up the wrong way, but spoke her mind and folk knew where they stood. RIP.

First game my Dad took myself and @DazBob to, when Bolton played Newcastle at Burnden Park. We won 3:1 I think, Peter Reid scored for us, and Keegan got a penalty near the end

We did. Tony Henry scored and the Newcastle fans ripped down the Henry’s drive thru ad on the embankment and chucked it on the pitch.

Yeah very sad news, always remember his Superstars appearance with the bike crash on the first bend and his shoulder bleeding.

He seemed a good man, and for someone who was once so very famous, always came across as down to earth

RIP

He really was a fantastic footballer and gentleman who will be missed by many.

I don’t recall him ever playing against us though I’m sure he did but I do remember him managing against us when he was at Citeh and probably Newcastle

went to Newcastle away in Jan 2008, SKY on a Saturday at 5pm

they'd just sacked Big Sam and brought back Keegan

got on the toon early doors and it was absolutely banging / buzzing everywhere, more so than normal, all for his return

going to the match every fucker was in black and white and wearing "return of the king" crowns that had been handed out round town before hand

it was like the best day in Newcastle ever

the game was shite, 0-0

Is it wrong that I read this in the voice of Alan Partridge?

I’ll tell you an anecdote!!!

That game at Burnden, when we won 3-1 was an event and a half.

Those away fans lobbed out came charging into the manny road terrace when the gates were opened near the end.

I was in the stand with my dad, and he recalled seeing a bloke turn round and lift his young lad into the stand behind, then in the same motion, carry on round and drop some scrotey magpie.

I was on the paddock that day. 3 Geordies came in, one had black and white stripes painted on his cut off jeans, absolutely steaming and giving it the "cmon ya Bolton bastards!". All the young lads, me included, suddenly remembered we needed to be somewhere else and backed away rapidly. Cue a dozen or so of the older blokes coming forward and piling in on em. It was brutal. All 3 were carried out in minutes.

That Newcastle game was my 2nd Bolton game. Wouldn't say my Dad an overly cautious approach to parenting but even he thought it wise to leave early.

Bill Oddie a Gonnie

Oh no. One of the few footballing idols I had as a kid who wasn't a Bolton player. A great player, one of England's finest, and seemingly a belting chap too.

RIP Mighty mouse.

In training at Liverpool Bill Shankly used to go on (and on) about how Tom Finney was the best player he'd ever seen (having played with him at PNE). As KK got better and better Emlyn Hughes was cajoled into asking how KK compared to TF. "Well son, I've got to admit there's nothing to choose between them, but what you've got to remember is Finney is 55."

Thought B Oddie was a prank at first

Great memories and great kids tv.

Mind you, this episode never got screened, for some reason.

It was never intended to be aired. They filmed it for a Production Crew Christmas Party.
