Your support for Trump's tweets and ridiculous videos have been pretty much a constant on here. Calling things superb, referring to him as the Don, laughing at videos that are actually quite dangerous for national and global security. It's blatantly obvious you're a big fan. Hardly a secret is it?

I ( & others ) have found it really odd considering how much of narcistic, demented nutter the guy is. And also quite odd to support someone's policies that are so dangerous.

I’ll simplify it for you, Keir Starmer is a dog shit PM, he’s been awful and it’s no wonder he’s getting the shit he does, but fair play to him on his current position regarding Iran and Trump,

Starmer bottled the Iran situation- use of bases- and has played the lawyer role since. Quite cleverly actually. 

His change of heart over bases, was accompanied by the stipulation for only defensive action.

At the same time he explained that such defensive action is better achieved by striking missiles and drones whilst on the ground.

Which (who knew) is precisely what the US forces targeted from the off. An action perversely described as offensive and illegal at the time.

Starmer refused to let bases be used to launch an offensive against a sovereign country. A move that most people have acknowledged was correct. Even Farage and Kemi have acknowledged that not getting involved at this stage was correct.

Once the Iranians started launching missiles and drones  we reacted to the need to defend our interests. 

You are deliberately confusing the ‘need to defend’ with the ‘intent to attack.’

The legality of the US attacks is at very best questionable add in the lack of answers to simple questions like what is the goal ? What is the plan ? Who do we end this ? And it reinforces the sense of the original call by Starmer

Trumps apparent disdain for Starmers idea of consulting with his experts before signing up to any military support might explain why Trump did not expect the Iranian reaction.

I can understand there's a debate to be had on to what extent we involve ourselves in this.

I'm in the lets keep well clear camp given those currently running Israel and the US. But I can always respect your view that something needs to be done about the Iranian regime.

What I just don't get is your use of language like 'bottled it and coward' to describe a PM looking to protect his country and distant it from this absolute mess. It just makes your argument look really daft. 

Not running into battle with Netanyahu and Trump is hardly the behaviour of someone who is bottling anything. They're a pair of nutters and one of them is wanted for war crimes. Sometimes the brave choice is learning from history and not bowing to pressure. And I don't have much positive to say about Starmer either fwiw, but he's handled this well.
