Ah, you’re back to spelling errors.

your struggle is real

Clearly not. But my own shortcomings are likely to be far less consequential 😁

So, based on what Mongychops is now saying - and obviously this can all change by the time he’s put his next nappy on - this is the situation:

* Israel and the US have twatted the Iranian regime. Not the worst idea, that I will say.
* The new regime is, erm, the same as the previous one, but a bit younger
* Trump is moaning that his allies didn’t help, but is now about to leave us all guarding Hormuz whilst America cracks on without consequence back home.

so, what was ever in it for anyone except Israel and the USA?

let’s see British people justify this. Sure, Trump is looking out for Trump.

But how was the UK ever going to benefit from any of this?

Bolty will no doubt try and say we will. But we fucking won’t.

Oh

I see Iran have now launched missiles at Diego Garcia.

Im old enough to remember when they weren’t doing that, when Starmer was standing firm.

Lets hope all the cunts who said it was wrong are happy now

Essentially he's taken a massive turd in the middle East and now wants everyone else to clean it up.

All this 'winding down' whilst simultaneously sending three more warships to the region along 2,200 Marines. And lifting sanctions on Iranian oil.

Incidentally - he's gearing up to ask Congress for another $200 billion. A (serious) analyst I was listening to yesterday was suggesting this is because Cuba might be next, because Iran seems to have been not a bigly enough win.

I suppose the ultimate litmus test of whether any of this has been worthwhile will be once the bombs stop falling and we find out if (and these are huge ifs)

a) The regime gets overthrown by something better and stable

b) Iraq is no longer capable of even thinking about developing nuclear weapons and therefore can't be viewed as being an existential risk to Israel

c) The Straights of Hormuz remain open and free for trade

Also - if there has ever been a better argument to end our reliance on fossil fuels (apart from climate change) surely this should be it?

We're basically able to be held hostage at will by the looks of things.

Yep

started a war that nobody else wanted anything to do with and has left a monumental sack of shit for us to sort out.

I’d like him to suffer a similar fate to Ian Huntley.

I imagine we'll be mopping this up and paying the consequences long after the silly old cunt is 6 feet under.

Perhaps Dim Donnie is cleverer than we think. By creating an absolute mess of world politics and economies, by starting wars, by lying about everything …… he actually makes the mess he’s creating at home seem (relatively) less of a mess? There’s logic there somewhere. The Great Disrupter 💪🙄.

Theres still a special place in hell for him though, and don’t forget the Epstein files….

Remember Rees Mogg pocketing £8M betting against pound during Brexit? They all know who they’re in it for.

Pretty unequivocal message being sent by Iran here. They're not fucking about are they?

Surely if they'd really wanted to hit that facility they would have done so? So what is this? A warning?

See how these things get out of hand?

Thick as absolute fuck

And still not willing to even acknowledge that his hero said this war was won and the enemy’s ability to retaliate obliterated, whilst Iran pours missiles all over the place.

And Bolty mocks folk who blindly follow religions like Islam.

So, Desperate Donnie will obliterate Iran’s power infrastructure in 48h unless they reopen the Straits of Hormuz (which btw I though was almost open / easy to open / nothing to do with the US anymore ???). Iran says if they do this they’ll retaliate.

What do we reckon? Iran will do as they’re told (no) or TACO Trump will do his usual (probably) or between them they’ll set the region ablaze and we’re all doomed (possibly).

The Great Disruptor eh.

Donald Trump knocking out Iran's power plants would likely consitute a war crime under the Geneva convention. And he's publicly crowing about it on Truth Social.

That's the world we're living in.

It will be interesting to see if Iran calls his bluff and if he will end up attacking civilian infrastructure.

He’s got used to being a bully and using threats to get his way (mainly with tariffs).

But since the Greenland debacle it seems like people are willing to stand up to him (even the Supreme Court). This could be the highest stakes gamble yet.

It’s not so long ago that he said everyone in Switzerland would be speaking German but for the Americans.

Wouldn’t it depend on if they powered some of their military’s operations (even though they now have no military apparently 😆

Only if it's proportional. If he knocks out the power grid it would affect 80,000,000 Iranians - hospitals, sewage plants, food refrigeration etc.

I wouldn't want to be the one arguing that it was proportional in The Hague.

Not sure if it would help or hinder the regime change either - if ordinary Iranians felt under attack?

I don’t think it would take much for them to get pissed off. The same happened in Iraq, it was great at first then when fresh water, power and food became a problem the pro American/UK lot soon lost faith

Yeah this is my worry. It's hearts and minds the Americans need to win over if they want a popular uprising.

And it's probably not a great stretch to go from shouting 'down with the regime' to 'death to America' again. Especially if you're an Iranian and it looks like you might end up on the losing side and are worried about the lives of your family.

It's hard to tell what's going on inside Iran with the blackout, but I've not seen any signs of the people taking to the streets again. Although I suppose DT told them not to until the bombs had stop falling.

Be some brave souls making that first foray out mind.

Just seen Trump telling us the deal was almost done and the US will cease hostilities.

Does this include Israel?

Oil prices down already.

Is he talking to them via a fucking ouija board? Told us he’d killed the lot last week.
