Toal injured, ???

Don't think so. More a lot of workload for him lately and he has been injury prone, so give him a rest when we have 3 similar standard centre backs for 2 spots.

Interesting team with Kenny and Dalby. Imagining Kenny will play a bit deeper in the 10 but it does give me reminders of Dalby and Burstow playing together which didn't really work. Hopefully a better partnership for these 2.

And Cissoko coming is in probably needed to not burn out the wingers but I can't think of a single good game he's had in the league when starting.

Seems like sweeping changes. SS telling us yesterday that so many of the squad are fit. Feels like a random punt. Prove me totally wrong, please...

Aptar and Cissoko either side doesn't fill me with great confidence

4 changes doesn't seem excessive

Look at that Bench

Strange to make so many changes if not injury related but let’s just hope they work, it still looks a pretty decent side to me and glad to see Conway back in. Plenty on the bench if we need them later.

Previous games for either side this season don’t seem relevant to me as we are seeing how a new line up works out. Decent width for wide men at Reading - same as ours - so the selection doesn’t seem particularly out of order either and Toal probably needs a rest. All comes down to our performance. And our luck. And the officials…

Every player can't play every game.

Especially after a game as intense as Sat.

The former has been in that spot every game he's played.

Captain stepover allowing CBT a bit of a rest- he's been heavily involved since his arrival, despite not having played a load previously.

I can see a potential weakness defensively on the left, and Tuto isn't really a full back neither.

I think SS feels we have to win so is going for it. Which is fair enough.

If we need to get a goal in the last 20 mins we have some serious firepower coming on.

CBT was blowing out of his arse on Sat.

Kenny has been brought in to play.

Cissoko was good on Saturday and the week before.

Aye.

Seems Gale is out of the picture now.

Shame if he's spat his dummy out, but time and tide and all that.

Reading have made 3 changes too and this is their 4th game in 10 days

CBT to come on late against knackered defenders? Yes please.

Fuck him not forgiven him for fucking our first win in 100 years at Bloomfield road.

*gale btw not Simons

He's had a chip on his shoulder since October.

Shame as he's a cracking player but just seems un arsed.

Think i would’ve gone with Gale personally. Lads way more effective than Shirley. Midfield is too lightweight for me

We do look physically weak across the middle other than EE.  Apter needs to show what he's about.

A bit puzzled that we've no CB on the bench, even the Irish lad, one defensive injury and we're struggling in defence.

Invested heavy on Gale at 600k.......SS needs to get him onboard there is a player in there

Christie is a stand-in CB though.

Gale needs to talk to the club shrink.

If his attitude is shit he can fuck off and fuck off some more.

There's other players who upped their game after a bollocking or dropping.

Lad needs to sort his own head out.

Looking forwards to this, interesting line up and that bench is strong in attack, however we are fucked if we get any defensive injury.

3-1 win, Dalby at the double, Kenny with the 3rd
