At the moment ACD got injured we were already 8 points behind 2nd and it was a genuine topic of conversation on here that we might be better without him. I think as a 20-year-old, playing his fir

  • I hate to mention this….but…..did nt the ref do well to play the advantage for the first goal ? Could easily have blown when Tutu was fouled.

I would go with:                          Bonham         Toal.         Forino.        Johnston  Tutu.                                                 Conway                   Sheeh

What a prick he is. Cya 👋

Very harsh that red.

Are we good again? #bwfc

Got away with it at their place. Bout time he got sorted out.

Excellent first half RR is class and what difference ACD makes.

Only if we see this one out, and win the next six games.

I'd like to see us keep at them early second half and not drop off.

Get another goal or two, then we can rest ACD, Kenny etc.

Much improved performance, working hard, moving it quicker, shooting, just frustrating we don't do this consistently.

Two great goals and causing them problems, couple of let offs but not too much to complain about.

Harsh red, bought by Kenny, but he is a dirty prick and should have had a red in the first game

Good half that. Acd & rr help to get the ball forward more quickly. Much better from gale too

Someone earlier, or on another thread, mentioned that Philips is a good player.

A very similar comment to that used about EE.

Like EE he has been sent off, against us, at our place.

Have we entered the twilight zone?

Very obvious straight red, ref had a perfect view.

I'd be livid if it was one of ours (at the player, not the red)

Absolutely.  He clogged the fck out of us there & God knows how he stayed on the pitch.

The difference ACD makes cannot be understated, and I dont just mean the goals.

I often think our squad can freeze a bit in the high pressure situations, with nobody seeming to take responsibility.

HIs determination and work rate both out of possession and also in position constantly looking for space is exceptional. Not only has it driven the team forward but I'd imagine it makes it easier for others to find space on the back of the chaos he causes the opposition.

Guilty as charged on both counts....He is decent at this level and certainly has that nasty streak, but you do not want to see that side from him if he is on your team.

Shout out to Desmond plays a lot better with ACD in front of him they have a good understanding .

I often think our squad freezes in the high pressure situations, it's certainly what we've seen last few weeks.

His defensive quality is vastly underrated - I don’t think I’ve seen a player for us that can regain the ball so quickly or get back to a player so fast.

There are a few times where he’s running with the ball, loses it but then manages to change his momentum and get back to the ball before their player has had chance to even have a touch. He stops attacks, he stops crosses and Tutu looks twice the player with him in front of him.

Shame Ritchie isn’t on the bench. Would have been nice to make it comfortable and give him 20-30 mins on home turf with the pressure off.

Gale seems to be better when ACD plays.

A bit of a buddy maybe?

The defending aspect helping the fullback could also a factor on the other side..

His work rate was totally undervalued pre injury.

That was liquid football.

He’s winning us the play offs, I’m telling you

ACD again , BOOM
