Just have to say what a day that was 

personal Wembley hoodoo of mine broken. The first time I’ve actually seen them win there since 89. So many times I’ve witnessed us on the wrong side of the result, down, dejected whilst the other end of that ground is bouncing in celebration. Yesterday to finally witness a positive result was unbelievable. Standing at the front of the middle tier watching the players, staff and fans together, happy and in joyous celebration, I’m not ashamed to admit I shed a tear. To then leave the ground and feel everyone just as elated and a sea of white walking down Wembley way was a very long overdue feeling. 
 

What a club. Bolton wanderers, my first and longest love 

credit to Schuey and the players, throughout the season he’s been calm and calculated. Never too excited when things were going well and never too down when they weren’t. Laser focus on the one aim and he’s delivered it. 
 

Back to where we belong as a minimum and away from those tin pot fuckers down the road and up the coast whose seasons we have just made even worse 

Hangover from hell this morning but I couldn’t sleep any more.

Still processing what happened yesterday but it was absolutely joyous. Amongst the many wonderful things that happened - Tutu’s best performance, Dalby’s goal, the white wall and so much more - I’d pick out a couple of things:

Firstly seeing the injured players celebrating on the pitch showing the inclusiveness/togetherness of the squad indicative of the culture Schumacher and his team have developed over the season - no prima donnas this time around and it’s made a difference 

The other is that back  in January, we were struggling up top but recruitment then worked out in the end and in Dalby and Kenny we suddenly had two different but complimentary new attacking options - a target man and a relentless and pacy runner -and huge credit to Fergal and SS for recognising the issue and being flexible enough to recruit them and change our style of play to suit them. For me, it is great to know that after years of backwards and sideways and predictability we now have a tactically astute manager flexible enough to switch things around as required.

think it's become a thing cos of the wimmins game. Loads of reds for hair pulling.

If not, then perhaps a harsh punishment- a yellow would have sufficed. 

It's still a foul, as is a shirt pull, so don't do it.

Nah Cogley is just a thick fucker. We’d seen numerous examples of it through his time here. Sneaky little pulls, pushes, making stupid decisions. He’ll never learn

Agent Cogley has always had that nasty niggly streak in him on top of being a diver when he gets beat - perhaps one of the reasons we got rid?
Well that and the money.

I just love seeing how much it means to folk. Our fans, Schuey, the players, Sharon, Michael James, my kids, friends and family. One eye (and  a few tears) out up to the heavens for my Bolton bestie @CSW after Dalby’s goal

I'm all for punishing this stuff. Red is harsh but players have been allowed to get lazy in the last 20 years and holding on has become accepted.

Should be instant yellows for hair pulling and shirt pulling. Would sort all this corner kick nonsense and make players start defending properly again.

There was a few questioning that decision from the club for the “white wall” - not sure why, it looked absolutely fantastic 👏

All three of those play off games have been fantastic experiences. Thats the kind of campaign we'll still be talking about 20 years down the line like we do with Europe.

An absolutely reckless all dayer leading up to an 8pm Saturday home game, some proper feral scenes when Simons got that winner away, and then that to cap it all off yesterday. Legendary stuff.

Was as hot as a bathtub in there though, basically shedding pure salt when I finally got in the shower after 😂

VAR - it wasn’t lucky or soft or wrong
