I hope we can recreate the white wall from Wembley this season… looked fantastic at Wembley I might even get a 70s BWFC shirt to play my part as I’ve never been a shirter.

Wouldn’t buy stone island.. rip off.

It looked mightily impressive. Something that will certainly live with me forever.

I think it'd be hard to do without selling a particular block of the stadium as the white wall section

I also personally think it'd be a bit cringe but each to his own and all that

It really was fantastic.

I reckon about 80-90% of folk joined in.

I was surprised there was some criticism on here about it pre-match.

Lots of players commented favourably about it.

Ive seen one photo from the other end which caught it really well, I can’t find it now.

That said, I think it’s a Wembley/special occasion thing…. On a warm day! 😂

Might look at least partially as impressive with 6000 in the Darwen End at Ewood. Hard to recreate on a frozen Tuesday night in February though as you indicate!

I thought it was just another let’s do what other teams do idea. But it worked and was magnificent. I was surprised when 2 of our group of 4 turned up in white. Old fatties did nt wear white.

Also seen a few pictures of a few old heads and vast majority were in white. Another thing that went really well on the day.

Great idea from the the club, it really worked at Wembley, be great if it could be transported to the north stand but it would need to sold out to have a similar effect.

Sorry, I'm out. I'm not shirt shaped.

Its never happening for regular league games, as said above for 1 its freezing and 2 the youth only wear black these days.

I was asked to provide white shirts for 2 of our party, had to dig out a selection of old tops and one swapped his only Bolton shirt (green away top) for a Nathan Blake era shirt, and another wore that very white one we had when Chelsea won the league here.

It really was impressive.

But there has been an equally big upturn in making lots of noise/singing particularly at away games this last few seasons.  "We are the one and only Wanderers" is a bit unimaginative but the continuous signing of it at the start of the second half for a number of minutes must spur the team on and a number of opposition fans forums have commented positively on the amount of noise we make.

We need more of this sort of thing to carry us through this coming season.

Also did a great job of triggering Bradford fans on Twitter 😁

Real Madrid have done that now for a few seasons behind the goals

Never were colours for any games, but I did for that ………

Agree that it wouldn't happen for majority of games, its more of a showpiece match thing.

But we do need to make that ground an as unwelcoming a place for opposition teams and fans to come to as we can. Home games are going to be crucial for us.

Wait till we start giving the full south stand away :)

I'm a great believer in letting away teams have half the WSL if they want it as well.

I'd forgotten how much I hated Anderson. Thanks for encapsulating it in one photo

The day we let Leeds have the whole south and that bit of the west was probably one of the darkest days in the club's recent history.

Sold our soul.

It was very Wigan.

If we stay up next season, it might be that we get round to putting together the safe standing section

The "white wall" looked great. Lot of people just wearing random white tops, not just football shirts.

Even my kids were wondering if they had to wear their school uniform polo shirts rather than their away shirts. Let them do whatever as they're small enough to not be seen. The Missus was happy enough to wear a blank white top of her own, rather than one of my Bolton tops

I hated ‘Whites Away’ before Wembley, I have sung it every day since and my missus who has been to 1 Bolton game in her live admitted to humming away to it.

Apparently when she picked me up last week we stopped at local garage/Sainburys and I was singing it in car park.

Whites at Home does not really work does it ?
