Honestly think Jude is our best ever player.

Think few will disagree now. Last night he dislodged gazza as my favourite england player.

Third World Cup Semi in my lifetime.

Would love us to get over the line in this one.

I’ve grown to love TT’s approach to the game and management. Accepting that we weren’t good enough and need to be better is the mentality of a manager who is here to win this.

It was an absolute battle.

But despite the under-par performance, there were some real positives.

The stats actually show we edged the game.

There were a few key moments which could have shifted the game away from the opposition.

For us, Jed Spence’s penalty shouldn’t have been overturned IMO.

All the subs really made a positive contribution.

And a final word for Bellingham - what a player, what a talent. I was so happy he didn’t get booked. I honestly think he can have a bigger impact on the semi than Messi.

Bring on the Argies! 2002 was a small shift on the dial for 1986 redemption, this would complete the turn and set up a show piece World Cup Final on the 19th July.

Come on England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 👏

Getting to a semi is a good tourno for us. I had 90 and 96 and thought that was my lot. We are regulars at this stage. Into them argie twats we go

Four world cups and 3 Euros. Nowhere near.

Missed my point I fear

Overreaction on Eze there. Many players not at their best.

Great interview by Tuchel. Starting to like him.

He only did a few decent "bits" when they were fucked and on the break.

His effort when we (he lost the ball) to get back were awful. Reminded me of Reid chasing Maradona, although Reid didn't have the legs.

The momentum shifted once he had come on- Rice, although clearly not fit, still offered far more balance and didn't leave a gaping hole in the middle.

Thankfully Tuchel saw it too, and got him out of the middle.

He reminded me of Gale in that he appeared to have no awareness when defending, and didn't work hard enough when out of possession.

As a fresh pair of legs, he should have been able to offer far more, and take a leaf out of Spence's book- we worked hard and used his pace, which maintained a threat to Norway.

He has got better and better as we have progressed.

Pulled us through last night, and was magnificent.

Nat Lofthouse was England's best ever though.. 😀

agree with TT, terrible performance but we got the job done

see the argies needed extra time again

anyone much older than me remember an easier route to a semi final than what they've had?

Craig Hope isn't having a good tournament

Statistically it’s the first time anyone has made a semi without playing a top 10 ranked nation.

I’m only slightly older too 😂

Maybe this?

A bit of context and detail may have helped, I’d never heard of him! 🤣

At times I didnt think we were getting through that. Even disregarding the disallowed Norwsy goal they looked stronger.

At HT, the Italian cousin who played for Canecati in Serie D messaged me and said "England win this, no matter how long it takes. It takes more than muscle to win football matches and Norway have only muscle. England have the brains and intelligence and it always wins through in the end. Bellingham is bellissimo".

He was right on all counts.

Get in!

Spence was excellent.

Eze was an embarrassment. If he can't be arsed, put him on a plane home.

I'd pay to watch him play like he did tonight, and I can't say that about many based on that 90 minutes. Oozed control and quality on the ball, not disputing we lose a bit defensively with him on instead of the likes of Rice but he won more than his share of challenges.

I'd also be surprised if Tuchel was using a player that wasn't trying enough. Nobody has accused Tuchel of bringing fancy dans to the WC at the expense of grafters.

Elliot Anderson may well be worth his price tag

He's been excellent throughout the tournament

Look if you’re arguing he was poor then I haven’t got a problem with that.

My issue is with you saying he was a disgrace & should be put on a plane home if he doesn’t care. What an utterly ridiculous overreaction.

Sky analysis has many players at 6 & even Kane & Madueke at 5. Eze was given a 6 and other analysts say similar.

Absurd that you’ve singled him out as a disgrace.

I thought Kane showed a lack of effort to get on the end of crosses & needs to be better at linking play. But that level of heat does affect the game.

Saka & Gordon to start next week. Eze an excellent option off the bench. Rashford over Madueke for me.

We have to step it up now. Great to see Tuchel pushing for that.

98 was gutting too

and whilst Beckham's red card wasn't an injustice, as good a player as he was I couldn't stand Batitusta for the he way he got onto the ref and stood their nodding as he showed the red card

cunt

shearer knew it too

I don't really know how to put this but there's a bigness to Bellingham that we don't really see with English players

That knighthood for Southgate looking a touch hasty

Argie tw@ts is a bit harsh , they are just a set of football players in white and blue stripe shirts , some of them very good players too. Just enjoy the beautiful game , don't get too hung up on anger , trust in Thomas Tuchel to get his tactics right over the next two games .

Yeh absolutely.

Another gut-wrencher that one.

The press are doing their absolute utmost to try and drive a wedge between Tuchel and the players
