Zico Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Get rid of the women, kids and old folk. They contribute nothing to the atmosphere. but who would you sit next to if they got rid of old folk?
Chadd Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I agree totally about the orange brigade (Hitler???s) [-X we should send this thread to Sam & Phil. And see what they come up with, [-o< There is nothing more dull traveling up from Cambridge to a soulless Reebok. And no I am not winging about the results it???s to be accepted with a small squad, I remember the old days of burnden walking down crescent road. The buzz was something else. But not now, We need some one off here to contact them. Or do they read this web site. 8-[
Guest as Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 The atmosphere would improve if you moved the away fans next to the East Lower again. The West Stand is silent. PB I got know how
jimmyjoojar Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Think everyone has a point. But what is needed is to Fat Gartsides eyes and show him that the fans aren't happy. Lets email them all from the top to the bottom. If every fucker at bwfc has whole load of emails waiting from them from disgruntaled fans, surely someone has to take notice. Anyone have any emails addys at bwfc??? Its time we took some action instead of just letting of steam here. Email, letter, protest, whatever lets get it done!!

Email, letter, protest, whatever lets get it done!! moves are afoot the problems are burnden isn't coming back prices for league games aren't coming down there'll be no drinking in seats there'll be no return to terracing putting away fans close to the homes is more likely to see trouble in the ground - i doubt it will happen theres plenty of other things that hopefully could be improved
jimmyjoojar Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 moves such as what?? Think the response to this thread shows the feeling of the fans. It needs addressing for the benefit of the club, fans, players, everyone
HomerJay Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 i think the main one is food and drink service improvements... the less people pissed off by the numbskulls who work there, the better. surley thats a simple thing to fix...
mickbrown Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Casino is spot on. The major gripes people seem to have are about stuff the club can do jack shit about.
jimmyjoojar Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 But we can do something about the atmosphere. We can get something sorted so that the cunts in orange aren't such hitlers. But it means a bit of effort on everyones part, need to get things moving and get the big wigs at the Reebok to take notice.
jimmyjoojar Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 If we make enough fuss and people get behind the idea i'm certain that things can be changed, along the lines of some of the more realistic suggestions already made. My mine grip is the souless feel of a home game. Am convinced that a singing section can be sorted. Just not near the away fans, can't see the club agreeing to that. But other than that how can the club not agree to something that would benefit the club.

I disagree that there's no chance they'd put the away fans back where they used to be - helped with the atmosphere but I cant recall seeing any "real" incidents to speak of!
Guest as Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Jack shit about? If they stop charging the away fans a ridiculous ??39 to watch a match at the Breezeblock, there'd be more away fans and that'd help towards the atmosphere. They run the club, there are loads of things that can be done, if they bothered to get of their over-paid, greedy, fat, lazy arses into gear. Some posters on here sounds like they're on the ragging board sometimes. PB
Casino Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 They run the club, there are loads of things that can be done go on then, i'm listening btw....for every 2 quid you take off the price you need at least 2000 more through the gate approx)

PB generally, when the club charge the ??39, ie category a, it's because more often than not it will be, or nearly be, sold out Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United everton had other priorities but the rest were full as far as i recall, or not far off

As Smiley pointed out, can't have terraces, can't move back to the Reebok. Suggestions then, lets have em. I suggest we all piss on the floor to give it that authentic Burnden smell.
Horwich Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 them annoying air horns casino on the m.i.c infront of the east lower (a la marseille) exhibition hall open to fans before the game + after (when available) with sky sports etc more staff at the kiosks vouchers for pints (less time waiting for change) banners to be allowed to be put up at the ground (get rid of some of the advertising and charge the ones that stay a little more) stand up when you want (you can at concerts at the reebok and at half time) just a few for starters
HomerJay Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 more staff at the kiosks i think i can save the club money there instead of employing more staff just make the applicants have fcukin interview before give some retard a job!
Guest Biff Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Plastic bottles of lager Lager is a puff's drink. Real men drink Bitter Ale.
Guest as Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 You're right - everyting is perfect at the Reebok and there isn't a single thing that can be improved. What was I thinking :-# PB I just don't know what to do with myself
BigUn Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 As as for attendances. ??39 for away fans to watch their team play Bolton, at a ground in the midle of nowhere, and then get threatened with eviction for singing is out of order. PB this is a good point. Do Bolton do what a couple of other teams in the Prem do, and charge the away fans the same as what we have been charged at their place. I ain't got a clue, never having been in the away end at the reebok!! I know they talked about it. i.e, if it costs whites fans ??45 to get in at Chelski, that's what they pay at the reebok.
