Nat i bow down to your superior knowledge of the game, your massive intellect and the fact that you have worn me down with you total toilet postings.....

You are in fact the saviour, the shining light for BWFC. We should all embrace your ideas and realise that Sam is indeed a prick and that he should be sacked. Lets bring back the glory days of Div 3 and 4, Phil Neal and the boys. Lets bring in a wage cap and pay no more than ??100 per week and any bonuses can be taken out on your fat ugly loose arsehole!

I'm done with her shit posts....FACT!!! ](*,)

What truly baffles me Natasha is why, given how utterly reviled you are by players' attitudes, you continue to give a rats arse?

Yet you seem to have the inside track on ticket sales, so you are truly confusing...

I don???t think my ticket sales knowledge is ???inside info???, I???m sure you could ring them up today and they???d tell you how many they have sold. I know through a friend of a friend.

I give a rat???s arse because I love my football club ??? I just hate the way money has taken over and results are all that matters. And the worst thing ??? the fans have become exactly the same.

The day Allardyce leaves you will see a new me ??? but until that day I cannot be positive about our future.

As for passion, this present team has been praised from all corners for its passion and team ethic yet you seem to think they are passion-less.

If you think there is any passion left in football these days you are more stupid than you sound.

Players don???t care about anything other than CASH.

20 years ago if a player had refused to play he???d have been looking for a new job. Nowadays he becomes the fans favourite.

While the technical quality may be better in 2006, the passion is zero.

yes, the whole french squad breaking down in tears after the world cup final proves that...

natasha, were you in plovdiv? did you see the players after that game, CASH could not have been further from the players minds imo...

Call me cynical but I???m sure the ??1million bonus each player was on had something to do with the tears.

I MAY SLAG OFF THE CLUB from time to time, but that is my right as a paying customer.

Understatement of the year i'd say,i've never heard you have ONE good word about-

1,BWFC

2,BWFC fans

3,Allardyce

4,The town of Bolton

5,The people of Bolton

So why bother claiming to be a "supporter"?

I didn???t go to any UEFA Cup games, home or away, so I can't comment.

Nat you hit the nail on the head there, most people on here are proper fans who were there went few others were.

fcuk the fickle fans, fcuk the glory hunters, and fcuk you. You have made it clear that you also view the whites in the same vein as these fickle folk, as some form of light entertainment on a weekend. Now kindly stop attempting to irriate the real fans with your one tricky pony like drivel!

I wouldn't waste my time trying to piss off devote Church go-ers with my anti-church ramblings so why do the same here? Get a grip, and do some work you lazy red ginger.....

You have missed the point. I will beat you hands down on who is the biggest BWFC fan. I haven???t missed a home game since 1990 v Chester City ??? and only 5 away games in that same period.

I may slag off the club from time to time, but that is my right as a paying customer.

But if the club really did fcuk off all the glory-hunters and part-timers the stadium would be empty and we???d get relegated quicker than Lazio. We NEED the part-timers as much as anyone else ??? if you can???t understand this I suggest you read a book on Economics.

But you said above that you've not missed a home game since 1990 , but now you are saying that you did not go to the UEFA Cup games at home :-k how can that be if you been to them all

"I get really dissatisfied with people saying Bolton Wanderers had a disappointing end to last season," said a disgruntled Allardyce.

"Those that express that opinion are ignorant and na??ve..

Frankly, if he's really said this then he can go and fcuk himself [-X

I was disappointed at the end of the season - we had another Euro venture in our grasp and blew it. Why the fcuk wouldn't I be disappointed?? Indeed, surely that comes from having a bit of passion about the club - precisely what he calls for in other circumstances.

I know all about where Bolton have come from - I was on the forecourt after the Aldershot game after all - but does that mean I'm supposed to be oblivious to the performances of the current team relative to what they are capable of?? When I do the 200 odd mile round trip to Wigan in the League Cup only to witness a spineless performance am I supposed to to head off with a smile on my face thinking "well as least that wasnt as bad as when I saw them lose at home to Southend in the LC in 1979"? When I see them lose 5 on the trot during the run-in am I supposed to have a laugh and say "hey, that's nowt - we lost once 7 on the trot in 1985". When we failed to win two games agaisnt uninterested opposition for a consolation Euro place was I supposed to walk away from the Brum game thinking "that's nowt, I've seen us lose at home to Hartlepool"???

Some away from football might say the fact that I had a season ticket and missed just one league home game despite being 110 miles away makes me ignorant. They may say that this combined with getting to every Euro game meant travelling 16,000 miles watching Bolton last season makes me naive. Well, I don't give a damn what they say as they're not football people. Show them a picture of Smiley comatose and spewing on himself in the first half in Istanbul and they just don't get it. People who understand applaud him.

So its one thing to be branded ignorant and naive by someone who doesnt understand football. But its quite another to told this by someone who should be applauding people's passion - passion that also therefore generates sentiments of disappointment and (hopefully constructive) criticism where criticism is due. Of course if he just wants 25000 automata sitting in the Reebok politely applauding everything and responding to every set-back by grinning and remembering the old 4th division and chanting the mantra "we've never had it so good" then fine. After all, what better qualifications to allow you to feel able to classify people as "ignorant" than telling grown men how to boot a bit of leather round for a living. What better qualifications to allow you to feel able to classifly someone as "naive" than spending weeks and weeks bleating about not getting a job....

Frankly I can't be arsed readin the whole thread, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating somebody elses viewpoint.

If Allardyce wishes to criticise me and call me ignorant and naive, then so be it.

That will not change my opinion that the end of the season was disappointing.

We were in pole position to qualify for Europe and eventually even missed out on the Intertoto. Sam took his eye off the ball more than once chasing a job he was never going to get.

For Allardyce and gartside: read Gerald Ratner. Treat your customer base like sh??t and eventually they will leave you in droves.

Our points tally last season was excellent for a club of our size and stature and thats the point Sam is making. The problem is, when you achieve nearly all those points in the first 2/3 of the season people get pissed off. Its a bit like throwing a 2 goal lead and getting a draw. Not a bad result but it feels like a defeat. After coming though the Christmas period with a threadbare squad with some excellent results the fans had every right to expect more.

I detect that deep down a good percentage of you are sick and tired of Allardyce whinging about the same people that keep him in a job. Without us he wouldn't be able to afford those man-size nappies.

Until you closet Sam-Haters come out of the closet we are stuck with hoof-n-hope football and a manager unable to blame himself for anything.

It's how she puts things across that winds people up IMO.

Some of her points are quite valid, but are expressed with too much vitriol. If she stuck to speaking her mind without over dressing it: she would be half as reviled as she is.

For example, here she is spot-on about Allardyce and the apportioning of blame.

When things go wrong, it is either the fault of:

The referee and/or his assistants

Poor crowds not getting behing the team

His players being tired/ not focused

The weather

The fixture list

Too many Africans travelling long distances for friendlies

Anti-Bolton press bias

etc etc

In other words, as Natasha points out here: Sam is very reluctant to accept any blame or criticism for the team's performances. Although both him and Smug Phil find it perfectly acceptable to publicly snipe at us fans: the very people who pay their wages.

Sam Allardyce is as much to blame as anybody for our failure to secure a 2nd season in Europe.

There is no disputing that the end of the season was disappointing. We would have gladly accepted 8th if offered at the start of the season, but after spending most of the season in the top 6 (including spells in the top 4!) 8th is an underachievement. FACT.

As a similar analogy to HR's, most fans would have accepted a 3-2 defeat away to a team like Chelsea, if offered before kick-off. If, however you're 2-0 with 10 mins to go and you lose 3-2 that is a disappointment. FACT.

Traf, she makes the odd valid point but half the time she is just deliberately perverse. It's boring, repetitive and most of all attention seeking. I hate attention seeking c??nts, they need help.

And your point about Sam is harsh, he is the man who single handedly (in my opinion) put us in a position to even challenge for Europe.

I mean, I can't even believe I typed that last statement: Bolton challenging for Europe. I NEVER thought I'd see that day.

Yes, but that does not put him above criticism and certainly does not give him the right to unjustly criticise the fans.

I too never thought I'd see Bolton challenging for Europe; I also never thought I'd see the day when being disappointed with the club obtaining just 8 points from their last ten games (including 5 in which they failed to score and five defeats on the trot for one of the very few times in their long history) - and thereby throwing Europe away - would have me branded "ignorant and naive" by the manager!

hopefully sam would be disappointed with a similar start to the season

Same old thing though you notice the whingers twice as much as the supporters its true on here and its true for Sam as well apparently.

I sort of take Sams point that it was a good season last year but its hard to deny that the season rather fizzled out after we went out the UEFA cupAND SAME GOT INVOLVED WITH ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!! but he is correct these are our golden years as a club so we should enjoy them while they last.

The reason Sam's eye was not as " on the ball" as it should have been is, like it or not, he is now a "celebrity". He is linked with every job in football that comes along, was on World Cup panels as an expert, he's even been on A Question of Sport.

The reason he is a celebrity is the highish profile he has earned for himself and this club. We, the supporters, and the club itself are victims of our own limited success.

What we all once thought of as impossible is now expected as the norm, and anything below that standard is considered failure.

And another thing, our only other "celebrity" manager as far as I know, is Jimmy Armfield who summarises on the wireless. Not that that's anything to do with it.
