no balls Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Any chance this tif can carry on in a PM? I was merely pointing out his unneccessary remark to folk from Macedonia who've been nothing but obliging on here. Am I not correct? Unfortunately Kempo still thinks he's funny. He's not!
Gumbo Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 I will not get involved in your tif nor take sides, however i take your point and if kempo had any sense he would no longer insult the lovley people who have been so helpful, The problem is the part about Kempo having sense

Alexander The Great Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Can you recommend anywhere on the route between Sofia and Skopje that would be worth visiting? monastery St. Joakim Osogovski. about 4km before u enter the town of Kriva Palanka u can visit this monastery. its worth!
brixton Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 monastery St. Joakim Osogovski. about 4km before u enter the town of Kriva Palanka u can visit this monastery. its worth! I very much doubt the chaps on this board will be visiting the local Monastery. Try the geeks on the Wanderer for that sort of thing. I`m only in Skopje overnight so plan on visiting as many bars as possible.

bolty58 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 How will you travel from Sofia to Skopje? The chaps from The Wanderer site will be in a light blue Reliant Robin.
JumboMkd Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 We have transport booked already. That means that you can't stop and travel around too much. Anyway, there's not much too see in that part of Macedonia apart from the place Alex suggested and also the old observatory Kokino which is on the 4th place of some list by NASA. There are some nice fishponds with good restaurants on the road, so if you're hungry and you have the time, you can eat the best fish in Macedonia there. I will suggest you the "Park" restaurant in the Ginovci village

Burnie Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I sow that some of you wondered about food, like mamber Aleksandar The Great told, you will faind very tasty food at Zlates for very cheap prize, but if you want more expensive fast food then i prefer Macdonalds in the city center. However i dont like Macdonalds that much, the potatos are good at least. You will also faind some very tasty food at the Irish Pub who also serve food, they have very food on the menu, i love this deep fry chicken with that sweet sour cream sauce that you can dip the chicken in, served with a nice beer. You have the Irish Pub next to the River Vardar on the city square.
Alexander The Great Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 McDonads... no! if u like fancy and expensive food than restaurant Den i Nok "Day and Night" is the right place for u. Ive been there and they have everything u want, even french food
Burnie Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 (edited) I have never been at that resturant but i guess its prity expensive, i bet they have frog legs since people in france eat it. I love Thie and China food. Edited September 16, 2007 by Burnie
