no balls
where does it say gauarnteed match ticket ? it says applications will be processed in line with ticket prioroty process. i know people have a downer on the club but if they print lies people moan, so lets not go down the route of putting lies on here to make apoint. if i have missed the bit about guaranteed tickets i apologise but given one of the benefits of booking with them is that you get your money back if no ticket not sure how a ticket is also guaranteed. Nope, I read it & read it again & it does not say guaranteed ticket at all. I haven't a clue why Norwich wrote that. My personal downer with the club is it's patronising attitude & the wording of TMG's advertising. I went to Belgrade on my own bat and genuinely believe I was as safe, if not safer, than those on the TMG. We are led to believe TMG & GMP hadn't a clue what was going on that day. Shoving you all in 1 hotel made you sitting ducks imo. Speaking to the locals, they had no issue with us, just the police, yes, the very people who were protecting the TMGers were actually the folk the Red Star fans had a problem with. Has anyone caught up in that debarcle had a letter of apology from the club or TMG?

Ani
as i read it that means you only get the package if you get a ticket. if you buy the package you do not automatically get a ticket. If TMG get any priority for tickets ahead of season ticket holders I will never buy a season ticket for Bolton Wanderers for the rest of my life. Has anyone caught up in that debarcle had a letter of apology from the club or TMG? I guess that the ?20 is the apology. But an apology conditional on using the official trip for Madrid. In which case it cannot be an apology, more an apology for an apology! I was there and I don't think that the club owe me an apology, it was a great adventure and the police were in charge, not the club or TMG. The British Consulate could chip in with a "sorry" for seemingly being uninterested. Merry Christmas, looking forward to Everton.

Ani
I was just quoting what it says on the official travel partner site http://www.tmgsport.com/bwfc/index.htm Important: all ticket and travel package bookings received will be processed in the following order of priority: BWFC season ticket holders, holders of both Lifeline Membership and Club Membership and finally an Open Sale of any remaining packages commencing February 1st. it also says the above, seems like a cheap and shabby marketing ploy to me. you are not guaranteed a ticket

You are guaranteed a ticket as far as Im concerned. Anyway Happy Xmas. Im glad Im not the only sad git on here on Xmas day. Ive got a 5 year old daughter asking me to play and Im on here!!! Traf
If you haven't already booked and you don't want to schlep around to different airports, preferring a direct flight, then Happy's trip is quite decent value for money. You'd be hard pushed to get a Manchester to Madrid direct flight now and the Liverpool-Madrid is now ?320 return. Add to this around ?80 for a 4* hotel room for the night. Obviously there are cheaper ways around, changing planes etc, but if it's a direct trip you're after: I doubt you'll find cheaper.

Moderators Carlos Posted December 25, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted December 25, 2007 Aye but these trips tend to be unreliable. For the game were our following has been under a thousand i.e. Besiktas, Rabotnicki and Red Star yes. For the games where thousands have travelled, hundreds travelled with WW and not a single bad word has been said about Happy Airlines, people have been more than happy (so to speak). Moderators Carlos Posted December 26, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted December 26, 2007 Do you stand a chance though when the club are competing directly against you, the local rag is promoting their trip, they are wording it implying that you will be guaranteed a match ticket if you book with them and generally scaremongering? It's difficult enough arranging flights for a handful of people, can you imaging what it's like for hundreds? I haven't heard one complaint. But the company that arranges the flights no doubt arrange many Hundreds of these trips so they should be good at it by now. Moderators Carlos Posted December 27, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2007 "As the ticket price is still to be confirmed by Atletico Madrid the travel package excludes the cost of the match ticket. Once the ticket cost has been confirmed the cost of the match ticket will be charged to the relevant debit/ credit card." That's a fcuking outrage, I hope that whoever at BWFC that's taken a backhander from TMG gets sacked.
