Rembrandt
3rd goal: Good strike, but where was the man on the post from the corner? He would have cleared it.I know Leonard Cohen scored, but he and Rasiak were absolute gash: it was like playing with 9 men. Sorry, Traf. I predicted that third goal 10 minutes earlier. Bringing all 11 players back into your own penalty area without a player on the half-way line for a release ball, and even then not making sure we have a couple of players on the edge of the penalty area for when the ball bounces out, is absolute pants tactics by Megson. And why was Rasiak brought on and not Stelios ? What was the point of two motionless stumps up front (yes, Kev, I mean you today) ? Stelios is trickier and more likely to score. And what was the point of Plan-A, lumping the ball into the box every time, when Liverpool got their heads to it nearly every time ? When Megson came in, he got us back to BSA's organised system. Compared to Lee's disorganised 'total football' nonsense, that worked for a few weeks. But now it's becoming obvious that Megson has no Plan-B - pretty much like BSA, but without the fight & spirit. I really can't see 3 worse team than us in this season's poor Premiership. No other team (apart from Derby & Fulham) have no strikers. It'll sink us unless we're very lucky in the last 10 games. Nil desperandum ...... but man the lifeboats, just in case.
stave222
What? You're actually defending Jussi? The wind had nothing to do with it. Jussi - who trains for most of the week in goal - should know where his goal is at all times. SPOT ON the FINNN CLOWN

shewan
The guys who were talking about this topic whilst the game was on should have been at the game...its a disgrace...you see how our players respond to fantastic home and away support against madrid and munich. I see staying in this league as more important. If people really care about this club they need to get their fecking arses down to the reebok and sing there hearts out with enthusiasm for even the shitest of games. He's right Bolty! you are one lazy part time JCL, shame on you! Get down on Thursday and sing your heart out for the lads, if you dare! And as for you, Newquay, well, frankly I'm embarrassed at your lack of commitment to the cause.

I shall get the missus to slap me with a wet haddock. Just having got back from Madrid and Blackburn is no excuse. I promised the lads in Skopje, Derby away, Chelsea at home and Spurs at home that I would try to become a 'real fan'.........
YATESY
Jussi is on his way in the summer anyway - he won't give a f?ck. He was going last summer For what it is worth, I haven't got a fcuking clue what he was doing yesterday. The best explanation is the one regarding a preference to save having to take a goal kick. At the game, all I could think was that Jussi thought there was a deflection on the shot but the ball went nowhere near a Bolton player.

Louis Van Gaal rates Steinsson as the best full back in the Eredivisie for the last 3 years. Van Gaal, you and me, however, are as thick as pigsh1t and know nowt about football.
