Electric Gretar Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 pitch n putt at leverhulme? Didn't we play a keeper as a striker not too long ago? Just sayin like
Traf Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Didn't we play a keeper as a striker not too long ago? Just sayin like No, not really. Sam Ashton, an Academy player and life-long Bolton fan, had his dream of representing the first-team fulfilled by being allowed to play the last few minutes of an already-won Cup tie as a sentimental gesture prior to his imminent release from the club. I wouldn't really call it playing as a striker.
Arnold Jackson Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Is this a serious post? since when has Steinson been a striker? it's the kind of ploy you would try if you were managing a school team 1) It was the post of a fan who is certain that the other players in the squad will MISS the chances that could keep us up! 2) It was the post of a fan who knows that all the 'traditional' ideas on formation will fail based on point 1 3) It was the post of a fan who thinks that Gretar Steinsson is the most determined and grateful premiership player in the squad 4) It was the post of a fan who saw Boltons best 2 serious attempts at goal against Man City 5) It was the post of a fan who has completely given up all faith in Davies, Diouf and Taylor as goalgetters 6) However I do admit it was the post of a desperate man
Bobcat Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 (edited) Anyone who suggests that Samuel should be in our first team squad, needs to lay off the Evo Stick.... I imagine Martin Oneil is still having belly laughs and little dribbles over that deal.... Edited March 24, 2008 by Bobcat

Wouldn't be anywhere the team for me normally, but with Gardner f?cked we're running out of options at left back.

Happy Wanderer Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Are fair enough championship plodders, but have they contributed anything for us the back end of this season? Imo we should bench the pair of 'em and go with summat like this - Al Habsi Hunt Steinson Cahill Samuel Stelios Nolan McCann or Guthrie Taylor Davies Diouff And have a go,ffs. Sorry BB but you lost all cred when you posted the name of Samuel as a possible footballer. This muppet is one if not the worst player I've seen to pull in the White jersey of BWFC.

This muppet is one if not the worst player I've seen to pull in the White jersey of BWFC. I agree about Samuel, but as i said earlier - with Gardner fooked we're running out of options at LB. Matt Taylor can play there - but i'd rather him be in midfield, to have him popping up in the box and allow his goal fest to begin Edited March 25, 2008 by Burndens Bogs
Zico Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 (edited) Those that want FSA back should remember that Dzemaili and Cid were pre-contract signings in Jan 2007 by FSA with big noises about what two cracking early moves in the transfer market they were. aye but in his defence alladyce did appear to be able to get average players to play above their level Edited March 25, 2008 by ZicoKelly
YATESY Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 aye but in his defence alladyce did appear to be able to get average players to play above their level I think the challenge with Cid would have even been beyond FSA... ...saying that though, I still think Cid made a better left-back than Samuel.
Traf Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I think the challenge with Cid would have even been beyond FSA......saying that though, I still think Cid made a better left-back than Samuel. Morph from Take Hart would make a better f?cking left back than Samuel.
Guest westmidswhite Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I would make a better full back than Samuel - Old Haywardian star I was in the 70's and silverware to prove it. Still could do a better positional job than that clown Play him and we wont even get the 3 points I am predicting between now and the end of the season
