Traf Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 But not because of the violence. I reckon they'll play in either La Coruna, Bilbao, Santander or Seville. I can't see them going to Barcelona. Towd ya!
floyd Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Aye, Seville police battered the Spurs fans senseless, a week before we played in Madrid wasn't it? - anyway, I think it more of a "Spanish" policing issue than a "Madrid" one. As mentioned above, it's joke they still haven't been told where they are going to play yet, and it's only next week. It'll be chaos, as no doubt all the scousers will be flying into Madrid as originally planned, and then stealing cars and getting trains etc to the chosen destination I was told by an Atletico fan after the game that the police inside the stadium are bussed in from other cities. This is so there are no local reprisals outside the stadium. It also means the police don't give a sh*t about who they lay into. If you remember, they charged the Ultras behind the goal and cleared them about before having a pop at us. I saw a convoy of Police coaches and Horse boxes heading out of Madrid the morning after. We were heading back to Zaragoza for our flight.

Maybe if the Atletico fans start to take it out on the local plod, everytime the out of town plod waved the battons around, the local plod may have a quite word with them about it JSL

Traf Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 "Atletico have denied all claims of racism, insisting that Uefa officials confused chants of "Kun, Kun, Kun" - in support of the club's striker Sergio Aguero - with monkey cries." You're not allowed to shout Kun, Kun, Kun either.
newquaywhite Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7672801.stm Liverpool are delighted at the decission to allow the match to be played @ Madrid. Fast forward a week or so...... "Liverpool fans battered by spanish police" "Madrid condemed" At lest when it happens to a "BIG" club- something will be done about it.
MickyD Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Oh I'll be glued to the telly watching their game at Madrid. Maybe next time they'll believe us. At least with it being one of the big 4 the FA might do something more than jack shit about it.

We'll have to put up with years of minutes silences; tributes (both silent and floral) and commemorative services for those who had their skull cracked in Madrid.
newquaywhite Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Uhoh, and tearful montages (montagi?) with mersey ferries fading into blood stained Madrid streets and back to a scarf riddled Cop End, all bedded over a hideous twangy scouse- band theme tune. Its enough to make one hope the Spannish behave for once , now they know we're all looking in.
Big E Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 i may go to madrid just to watch scally bashing
Carlos Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 This game is known as the Pickpocket El Classico.
MickyD Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Can just imagine the pickpockets stealing there own stuff back.
bolty58 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Can just imagine the pickpockets stealing there own stuff back. Or maybe all the scouse and spic pickpockets should all just meet in that giant square, form a circle and everyone hand their wallet to the person to his right. Save a lot of fooking about.
Traf Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 I'm not overfond of the Madrid Police, but I hope they give the scouse c?nts a good kicking.
