IMO that is cheap in todays market. ?3.5m for Davenport, or an extra ?1.5/?2m for Bullard, I know what I prefer.

 

And Megson has said for a while that we have funds for this transfer window. I also don't understand why people get so caught up on the price, it's not our money, the club know what they have to spend so if they want to spend that then fair enough.

Player is not overly impressed with the thought of moving to Bolton, so his agent has informed all media hounds that Bolton have made said bid

 

Assuming Fulham even accept said bid (or maybe a clause in his contract has been triggered??) Player and Agent will now sit tight waiting for a 'bigger' club to match or trump or bid.

Thats similar to what i thought as it says 'Bolton in talks with Fulham over ?5m deal for Bullard'. If it had said Bullard in talks with Bolton then we might be getting somewhere. Fingers crossed though, it might help lift some of the gloom around here!!!
