Hull Next Week

After all the negatives regarding yesterdays non performance, surely next week offers the perfect opportunity to go 4-4-2 and have a real go at Hull, my team if fit would be.

Jussi

Steinson cahil shittu Samuels

Taylor Muamba M.Davies Gardner

Elmander K.Davies

Plenty of pace and youth with a good sprinkling of experience, we would batter em.

Hull haven't won for 16 years 3 months and 12 days; what are the odds?

Please, no one say 'let's let Hull win so they stay up'.

I hope we give them a right pasting and end our season at the Reebok on a bit of a high. Strangely I'd prefer that to seeing a club I have no affinity with beat us.

after hull away and the browny chants, methinks megson would love to show em who's boss and hammer a nail in the coffin.

however........

As hull haven't won away for a long time i will be placing all my wealth on hull as we seem to always let teams get their first wins for an eternity!

Megson wont drop McCann

I wouldn't be too bothered if we end up losing if it means the Geordies go down. I'm sure there'll be a few with a secret smile if a legend from the glory years keeps his team up at the expense of the Geordie nation and our great leader.

Does my head in this. Folk moan like fcuk about our performances and then say 'I don't mind losing'. FFS. Which one is it then? Am I to conclude that you would be happy to see us lose if we played superb passing football with no end product?

For the record, I hope we go out and smash the fcukers 4-0. No, I don't have a Casinoesque hatred of Sunbed. Yes, I would like to see the geordies relegated. Bottom line is, I just love seeing Bolton Wanderers win above all else.

we hae to cross the half way line to score so for me a 0-0 with a performance to match that yesterday,

so for me it'll be an afternoon watching bolton league cricket.

I've given you the benefit of the doubt before, even given you're user name. But I must now say you are a total bell end. Let's paste Hull and let the rest take care of themselves.

Swap Muamba for Mcann in that line up....

How about swapping the pair of 'em for Basham?

How about swapping the pair of 'em for Basham?

I really don't know what he has done wrong to be out of the running. Cohen seems to have come from left-field to gain a starting postion with Basham left high and dry.

If M Davies and Gardner are fit they must start. I am wondering how long Megson will keep faith with Muamba and Elmander in the starting XI. Both are in desperate need of the summer break and come back refreshed for next season. So I would stick K Davies back up top and play Taylor, Gardner, Basham, M Davies and McCann in midfield.

Another change may come from Megson's promise to give Al Habsi a game or two before the season is out,

I reckon Megson has seen what happened to Nolan, O'Brien, Hunt etc. and is actually protecting Basham from criticism. Also, any time he plays from now til Megson leaves will be seen as excellent so he should be safe from the boo boys.

Also, I'd much rather Muamba than McCann, since his injury McCann's played like Nolan without the pointing.

I thought McCann was one of the better ones on saturday and has been for a while, every now and then he has a poor game but I think generally he is a good solid player. Always keeps it simple, nothing fancy, breaks up the play and does his job. Funny how opinions can differ :pardon: .

As for Basham I was impressed when he came on as a sub in the Chelsea game and the one before, but I thought he looked a bit out of his depth when he started against Pompey (but then again they were all shite), I'm not saying he's a bad player but I do think he's been hyped up a bit too much, I personally think Cohen has come in and done well.

I think my midfield 3 would definitely have Davies and Gardner if fit, but then I would be stuck between the solidity of McCann, or the energy and tackling ability of Muamba, and the fact that if dropped his confidence may take more of a hit. Tough one but probably McCann at the moment.

Before injury McCann was very good. But recently he hasn't been getting round the pitch very well and has been one of the first to sit on the edge of the box when we're under pressure. Also, while Muamba's passing is fairly crap McCann's isn't vastly better. All his passes are so incredibly obvious and yet aren't passed with the speed required often lofted despite no need for it. In my opinion of course.

I 'Spose I 've kinda elevated Muamba due to the overly excessive booing, though. Much like Megson and Elmander.

Win at all costs - none of this old boys lark.

I would love Newcastle get relegated, but first and foremost, like every time I watch Bolton

I want them to win - sod the rest.

I'm with you on that. Nothing ruins a Saurday night out more than a home defeat, but just maybe if it does happen and Toon get stuffed because of it, well I could just about live with that.

3-0 to the wanderers.

But I said that on Saturday before the game too
