Spider Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I can't believe you're all interrupting a bank holiday sunday drinking session by going to a football match. Headache tackle. Pimms at 10am, Krug for lunch followed by lashings of tepid Bank Top.
L/H Lad Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 i will be on the 11.35 from WALKDEN Thought trains passed straight through wogdin on a sunday.
Mounts Kipper Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Not out in town before but will partake a bit of liquor after in Manchester hope there are plenty on the lash after.

Zozzy Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Think theres quite a few meeting up at Wetherspoons for 10AM, then gettin the train about 11AMlooking forward to Sunday, I can see it being a very messy one!! Bring it on! I will be making alternative arrangements as I am still barred from Wethers
Danny G Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 I will be making alternative arrangements as I am still barred from Wethers I doubt they will bother at 10 in the morning!! if they do, ill sneak the beer to you outside
Zozzy Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I doubt they will bother at 10 in the morning!! if they do, ill sneak the beer to you outside I got turned away at 10 in the morning when I thought I had enough time not being allowed in, and it was a midweek not on a matchday. The tosser of a manager has got an attitude problem and can't admit he was wrong in the first place. I would rather not give them my custom anyway until he Does One. His loss.See you all in Manc later I'm sure Come On You Whites
Guest squidgy66 Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I will be making alternative arrangements as I am still barred from Wethers I always thought it was physically impossible to get barred from a wetherspoons The indignity of it
Danny G Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 I always thought it was physically impossible to get barred from a wetherspoons The indignity of it Same here!! Come on Zozzy tell us all the story of how you got barred??
Zozzy Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Same here!! Come on Zozzy tell us all the story of how you got barred?? Basically the bloke behind the bar said something insulting. I asked to have a word with the manager about it, it turned out that he was the manager. I told him that his customer service skills were poor. I then had the choice of snotting him on the nose or going outside and phoning Wetherspoons Head Office to report his manner. I chose the 2nd option. The Area Manager had a word with him. The Pub Manager told a load of bullshit lies, that I had done something wrong myself and I haven't been allowed in since.

no balls Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Does that man who dresses like Captain Birdseye still go in and wave at the window to the passing ships?
peebles Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I've just waved the family off to Alton Towers. Was meant to be going but due to a lot of guile & effort I've managed to offload my place. 11.25 from Hollywood.
