It would cost more than that to replace what he contributes to the team

A mate of mine, a Sheffield Utd fan, bumped in to SKD in Chester last week. He asked him if he would ever play for the Blades, Kev gave him a 'maybe one day' kind of reply. He told my mate that he was really looking forward to the new season with Bolton, and thought we would do much better than last season. A proper nice bloke apparently according to my Blade friend.

 

Can't see him going to them under any circumstances. He is a legend at Bolton but that would be gone in a breath if he ever went to Blackburn, and I'm sure he knows it.

I imagine SKD has a lot of respect for both Allardyce & Brown for bringing him to Bolton & resurecting his career, however he owes nothing to Hull & definatly owes zilch to Blackburn, he's playing well for Bolton, who knows his form could dip if he went to another club then he'd end up like he was at Southampton. I think he'll laugh off any offer from another club for the next 2 years.

Or of course it could be his agent playing the media to get SKD a better deal at the Reebok.

Been thinking about Kevin Davies's position and changed my views I don't think the club can afford to sell him and moreso now Allardyce has declared an interest, it looks like Sean Davies has chosen to come to the reebok over ewood park I am sure Allardyce will be seething about that, BWFC now need a period of stabilty on and off the pitch so selling the club captain to Rovers should not be on the agenda.
