If You Could Have One Player Back..............

Just for you Bolty

If you could resign one ex wanderer now (regardless of age, price etc) who would it be and why?

Despite my moniker I'd go for Eidur - could score a few, retain possesion and unlock defences from in and around the box.

Djorkaeff

Lee F.

As club man Per Fransen in his pomp for me apart fom the last game of the season when he rounded the chelsea keeper and slotted it wide ! and his breif fling with the dingles but that wasnt his fault

A pre-injured Andy Walker, but for that crutiate ligament injury, he could have been THE best striker we have ever had.

As it was, he is still a legend!

It was a golden era for the Whites, one that will probably never be repeated, and fear that we never see the the likes of him again.

I'd add Freddie Hill to this list.

I'd add Freddie Hill to this list.

Michael Ricketts(pre England) Tony Caldwell.

There is a player in our team

and he is a goal machine and his name is...........

Someones scoring Lord.......

Peter Thomson (at his peak of course :D )

was thinking about

ray deakin as hes no longer with us i'll say

graham bell or frank passi.

generally Djorkaeff

though right now

probably Ricketts

Wyn Davies to join with the rest of the Davies`s

Robbie Savage - he wouldn't take any messing from these Premiership prima donnas!

For the creative spark we miss - Jay Jay

For the ability to stick the ball in the net, take you pick - Andy Walker, Super John or (dare I say it...) Anelka (from game 14 onwards of his Bolton career mind you!)

I like the cut of your jib.

And like your Aussie mate I'd add Freddie Hill

Derek Hennin, unsung Bolton wing half of the 50s. He once deputised for Nat at centre forward and scored a hat trick.

Tommy Banks was my hero but Freddie Hill was the most skilful Bolton player I have seen including Jay Jay and Youri.

Anelka without doubt for me. Just give him the ball within 30-40 yards of the opposition goal and he could do the rest.

David Felgate

Frank Worthy

Supa John

Youri

Djibril Diawara or jay Jay Okocha.

anelka, just class, how we signed him is beyond me!

Youri......without him no Jay Jay, no Hierro, no Campo, and worst of all no Jardel !!

Dietmar Hamman.

I concur wholeheartedly.

Just for you S, tomorrow, I will post a picture of the great man in unfamiliar circumstances!

Super john by a country mile, he might've be a tubby sex pest but he knew where the goal was!

He did in the lower divisions , not so in the prem ...
