FWIW i thought it was time nolan moved on and for the club we got dectn money and i shed no tears.

His last couple of years with us were a non entity for me but if its a loan deal that meant if it dont work out he goes then yes possibly.

I don't think there are many who 'back' him just those who don't get those who villify him for nothing. Going back in for Nolan doesn't mean we'll never buy another player, just its a quick and relativley easy way to strengthen the team without spending much money.

 

Its not the big name, attacking signing that people crave for, esp after our start, but I certainly don't see it as the beginning of the end as some rather more melodramatic folk seem to be predicting.

I for one am biting my tongue until Tuesday but if he fails to improve the creativity and potency of our strike threat, then I am afraid I'm with the Megson out set. If however he manages to get in the player(s) that we so evidently need, then I will support him, come what may! He has had plenty of time to make the necessary signings and some funds have been available, he chose how to spend them!

We can only sign someone if they want to play for us, and their club accepts what we're willing to offer.
