But you know more about football coz you're a manager on WW, that it? Don't worry I'll be going back to just reading your shite from now on, you've got more time than I have on your hands. Arrogant cock.

Don't worry I'll be going back to just reading your shite from now on, you've got more time than I have on your hands. Arrogant cock. Snowball, Homer's not a manager on here. The more posts you make, the more little footballs you get next to your name and your "title" changes. It only relates to number of posts: nothing more, nothing less. His points/opinions are no more or no less valid than yours and I'm happy for you both to continue to express yourselves. However, we don't want posters to personally abuse each other. We've had another bad day: have a drink and chill out.
November 7, 200916 yr I honestly think Nicky Hunt is a better defender than Steinsson and Robinson, and I fucking hate him (NH that is)

Off for a pint now, hopefully it will do the trick as long as no one mentions football!
November 7, 200916 yr I honestly think Nicky Hunt is a better defender than Steinsson and Robinson, and I fucking hate him (NH that is) I honestly think Nicky Hunt is a better defender than Ricketts, Steinsson and Robinson, and I fucking hate him (NH that is)
November 7, 200916 yr I honestly think Nicky Hunt is a better defender than Ricketts, Steinsson and Robinson, and I fucking hate him (NH that is) I honestly think Nicky Hunt is no worse a defender than Ricketts, Steinsson and Robinson and I don't fucking hate him (NH that is). Now I'm off for that pint (and I might even toast NH! who can play up front!) depending on how many I have. P.S. Is it a sin to admit I enjoyed watching Arsenal.......again.
November 7, 200916 yr The worryng thing for me is when we're good, we're good, when we're bad we're fucking terrible. I am however on my 3rd bottle of wine and due to crack open some crystal meths with the wife. At least it will dilute Football First.
November 7, 200916 yr Had a bit of time to think about this and yes it was a terrible performance, but that is not unusual for us at Villa, forget the 2 chelsea games there probably the best team in the world right now, so let's all put this one behind us and hope and pray this is a one off, 3 points against Blackburn and it will be forgotten.
November 7, 200916 yr 3 points against Blackburn and it will be forgotten. I agree. The next three games which are Blackburn (h), Fulham (a) and Wolves (a) are going to be season defining for us, if we get 4 or 5 points from them we'll be alright, if we get less than 3 points from them, then there could be trouble ahead.
November 7, 200916 yr Back four didn't turn up. Simple. Horrible to watch - you could see that we handed them the initiative right from the off. The early goal had me thinking we'd get done about 3-0 so I was encouraged when we hit straight back after their second. Schoolboy errors - we just gifted it to them. Need a win or two to steady the ship.
November 7, 200916 yr Top 10 club, we dont get many points off them. Hmm, we don't. How come you've never mentioned it before?
November 7, 200916 yr Is it a sin to admit I enjoyed watching Arsenal.......again. No, their passing game is very pleasing to the eye.
November 7, 200916 yr Just seen the penalty. Clutching at straws a bit but how far into the area was the ginger bastard when the ball was struck? Edited November 7, 200916 yr by MickyD
November 7, 200916 yr Is it a sin to admit I enjoyed watching Arsenal.......again. Not at all, I made a point of watching them tonight, as I knew they would rip Wolves a new arsehole, I sincerely hope they win the league this year, they are great to watch. I'm dreading when we play them nxt, hopefully it will be when they are going through a bad patch, as they are capable of beating practically anybody at the minute
November 8, 200916 yr Our Centre Halves lost us that game today. Cahill, being the biggest culprit, although he still looked a goal threat up front. I think the time is right for Andy O' Brien to come back in for Knight .
November 8, 200916 yr Hmm, we don't. How come you've never mentioned it before? Posting it for the new readers.
November 8, 200916 yr Only one result today. Top 10 club, we dont get many points off them. Until Megson arrived WE where a top ten club, cant understand why some on here seem to accept a 5-1 thrashing as OK. Something has to change now, all comcerned have had enough time.

November 8, 200916 yr We weren't; how strange that people could forget So we didn't finish in the top ten under Allardyce then ?
November 8, 200916 yr apologies snowball, i didnt mean to seem arrogant. i guess i was just pissed of at the performance like everyone else. but after watching the game back, i do still believe davies was as poor as any other players. At the very least, as captain, he should be leading the line even when playing poorly. hopefully youve now seen the game, and seen how poor he was. like i said though he was not alone. the number of times he loses the ball, is criminal. like any other player, i guess youve gotta weigh up his good attributes with his bad and decide whether the team benefits or not. yestererday it most certainly did not.
November 8, 200916 yr So we didn't finish in the top ten under Allardyce then ? We did But we had relegation form in the 2nd half of that season And when Megson arrived I think that we were bottom I expect that you are aware of these details, though!
November 8, 200916 yr We did But we had relegation form in the 2nd half of that season And when Megson arrived I think that we were bottom I expect that you are aware of these details, though! There where very good reasons for the slump, mainly from the boards lack of investment at what turned out to be the clubs most important point for years. I have alwyas laid my cards on the table about Megson etc, but if as a recent top 10 club we are happy to now be 2 points off the bottom 3 with almost half the season gone and accept a 5-1 thrashing then something has to be done. It seems that from the papers today Megson has lost some of the team but unlike previous managers I dont think he has the skills to remedy that situation.

But whether one accepts these things, which are totally outwith our control, is a philosophical matter, a personal choice. If you accept it, it doesn't change anything If you don't accept it, it doesn't change anything. You might as well accept it! Edited November 8, 200916 yr by boltondiver

I dont accept the board/manager or whoever sitting on their hands and not being prepared to say they got it wrong. As previous posters have said Megson invested in what he saw as a weak defence when he should have bought a playmaker and striker. I dont accept it -sorry.
In here please.
