The Norpig Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 reid down to 8's now... sommits not right. ... Because people are listening to daft rumours and backing him.
JimmyRiddle Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Coyle will resign if no agreement can be made. He's burned his bridges with the cousin fuckers. He will be our manager in A mater of hours/days. But he shouldn't have too should he, he may wish to honour his contract with Burnley is so much they get compensation if they lose his services...
YATESY Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Its a WW classic this one. A few other Bolton forums and Burnley ones too are picking up on it.
athywhite Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 But he shouldn't have too should he, he may wish to honour his contract with Burnley is so much they get compensation if they lose his services...could this go to a tribunal to determine the amount of compen to pay or not?
desert Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Its a WW classic this one. A few other Bolton forums and Burnley ones too are picking up on it. Yep, it's an absolute croc and as for Reid being down to 8's?!!!?????
The Norpig Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 If the cousin fuckers continue to drag their heels, he will hand in his resignation. Then it will go to a tribunal and at worst have to buy out the contract.
Breightmet Boy Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Im staying out of this one, my lips are sealed for the love of the club
JimmyRiddle Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 could this go to a tribunal to determine the amount of compen to pay or not? I thought tribunarals were when a fee could not be decided between clubs of players with subjective talent, but with Coyle if it is written into his Burnley contract what would be the point, that is how much we need to pay. I would be mighty pissed off if I was OC he has stuck his neck out for us, taking all the shit from Burnley, and we have potentially hung him out to dry..

Not really possible that: Premier League Rules Section Q Rules 7 et seq ... Contracts of Employment and Registration 7. No Club shall employ any person as a Manager unless and until: 7.1 the terms of the Manager?s employment have been evidenced in a written contract of employment between the Club and the Manager and 7.2 the Manager?s contract of employment has been registered with the Secretary.Cancellation of Registration 12. An application for cancellation of the registration of a Manager?s contract of employment shall be made in writing to the Secretary and may be made by either party to the contract of employment. 13. The Board shall cancel the registration upon being satisfied that either: 13.1 both parties to the contract of employment have consented to the cancellation of the registration; or 13.2 the contract of employment has been properly terminated by either party to it; or 13.3 the contract of employment has expired; or 13.4 a period of one year has elapsed since the Manager ceased to perform his duties under Basically, if we don't agree compensation and thus, Burnley agree to release him, rule 13.4 states he'll go gardening leave for a year! Even if Coyle does resign, its no use to us unless Burnley agree to it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boby Brno Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Burnley have announced that they are looking for a new manager. Constructive dismissal at the very least!

Winchester White Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Reid isn't low enough to lay off my outsiders bet yet, keep it up...

From what I have read I assumed he had a clause similar to what we had removed from Cahills contract stating if a club was willing to pay X, then his current club would let them go. Could you imagine if we sold Cahill to United for 15M as that was the price in his contract, it all become public, then United say in fact we will only pay 5M, its all bollocks, either its written in his contract or its not..
worthy10 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 do WW hierarchy provide any stress counselling? This is like Chinese water torture. Chopping and changing hourly. I was convinced that O.C would come here and make a lot of people very happy and proud. Simultaneously pissing a lot of people off He has obviously burnt his bridges with Burnley. Now the way it drags on, you never know. As previously stated if this blew up in our faces it would beat all the cock ups that have gone before. WW images are indelibly burnt to the back of my eyes. I am physically and mentally drained. Am I meant to be a brain surgeon. I wonder sometimes?
